Of course, I had to look at food pictures right before lunch time. I so wish my stupid chicken sandwich was one of the delicious sandwiches served at The Plaza!

I know what you mean! I was over on the food porn thread and I was about drooling and it was only 9am, a little early for lunch!

Just read through your entire TR this afternoon. Can I just say that it reads incredibly smoothly? I really like your writing voice, not to mention your pictures.

Congratulations on Sam for the scholarship, that's amazing. And she looks gorgeous in her senior pictures (and that is one beautiful prom dress).

I want to share some happy news with you all. Early this morning, my sister gave birth to her 4th son. She was at work last night and she called her husband to say she was having some contractions, but she's a nurse and was thinking it was braxton hicks, not the real thing. She decided to go home at 9:30 to rest and by 10:30 she was in the hospital. They did a c-section at 12:14am. (he was breach as was 2 of his brothers)
His name is Reid Gilbert, and he weighed in at 6lbs,12oz & 20 in long. I took some photos for her birth announcments,and thought I'd show him off.

Here he is w/ Kadence. She was so proud to be one of the first to hold him.









She'll probably shoot me for this one. I love her, but she's the skinny-butt who usually wears her sz 0 jeans home from the hospital.

OK, all caught back up! I really got behind on everything after graduation.

What a lovely MK day you ended up having. I'm so sorry it started the way it did. Katie was sick one day when we arrived at Disney. I told her we'd hang in the room the next day if she needed to, but by that evening she was ready to go out for something to eat. On, to be that young and resilient........

I can't wait to hear about your Rapunzel encounter! From the threads I've been seeing lately, that has only gotten crazier over time. They have even stopped having R/F dance with the kids. I think they CM's might dance with them, but not the characters. And from what I understand, even if you get there at rope drop, you have to sprint back to Fairytale Garden to even have a shot at the first set. And even then you have to beat up a few of the folks who were in the park already with early ADR's.......... To be honest, we probably won't even do this again when we go back unless they change something.

So tell Kadence she was one lucky girl to get to dance with Flynn! Can't wait to hear (and see!) all about it!

My kids are never sick, I can count on one hand the number of times they have been sick. Of course it would be at Disney But they do get over it fast to. Thank God!

I heard that about R/F too. I'm glad we did it how we did it. Which you'll all find out soon

Well, I was going to do an update this morning, but instead my laptop got cozy with a virus and I will be out of commission for a while. We took it in today, so I'm hoping I'll get it back soon.
For now I'm on my old, slower than molassis desktop, and I can barely check my emails. In fact it logged out twice just now while here.

I just want to wish everyone a great Father's Day weekend.

The virus was so bad, It wouldn't let open any program or close down. It cost me $60, but I'm back and have a super-duper, heavy duty anti-virus, firewall, kriptonite barrior now!

Laptop is good as new! I'm hoping it stays that way. I've also been ut of town for 4 days at a work conference. I wish it was with my new nephew, it would have been a better time.

I'm Back!!! My laptop is virus free and I'm good to go! I just got caught up with all my subs, and now without futher delay... an update!

Well, here it is. The last full day at Disney, our 2nd planned day at Magic Kingdom. The event that inspired the title of this TR.

But first, I’ll tell you how our morning started. I woke up before everyone………WOW, that was a shocker since I’ve been the 1st up every day!
We had an 8:05am ADR at Crystal Palace, and Kadence wanted to dress up as Cinderella for some pictures by the Castle. I had learned how to do an updo so, operation Hairsytle began as soon as she woke up. She was a happy camper, feeling fine after everything that occurred the day before. (Thank GOD)

I had a little trouble as her hair is long and didn’t feel like cooperating with the roll up, but I got it done. A little glitter and lip gloss and Voilà! a Princess!
She had a pair of low heeled clear sandles that had some sliver accents that she called her glass slippers that she wore, but being the wise Mommy that I am, I knew she’d be changing into her tennis shoes before long so they went on the top of her bag of clothes.
WE headed to the bus stop and it was empty, not a soul in sight at any of the parks stops. I guess that’s really what a 1 or 2 looks like for a crowd level.
The bus was a bit late, but once we got on we stopped once at POFQ to pick up a couple and away we went. We got through bag check, and headed to the ADR line. We were 2 families from the front of the line. The CM’s were chatting to us all and calling Kadence princess; and boy was she sucking that all up!
We got let in around 7:30ish and we headed down Main Street, my main goal was to get some photos of the girls and us in front of the Castle. Well halfway down the street, Kadence started complaining that her feet hurt and she wanted to change her shoes. What a sight, her sitting on the side walk with me changing out her “glass slippers” for tennis shoes. At least her gown was floor length and you couldn’t tell. (she was flashing her foot wear to others later)
I managed to get a few shots off before most of the crowd got in front of us.





We then headed over to check-in at CP. There were a lot of people waiting to do that, in fact the man in front was checking in for 9am! I think they were a little early, or maybe hoping for an earlier time. I took advantage of that time to shoot what Kadence thought was too many pictures! I’ll let you see when she’d had enough, and she wouldn’t take off her sweater, UGH! I think her being hungry started making her a bit touchy!











There weren't any photopass around, and then I forgot to find one later. I do wish that we would have gotten some, Kadence was hoping for maybe a magic shot. I'm for sure going to remember in Sept.
