Sorry you had a bad experience with Vidia. We didn't visit her, but when my niece (Turkey Lurkey's daughter) visited her that week, Vidia adored her and the whole Turkey Family had a great time. Looking at the pics, though, it was a different CM on that day.

Now that's the kind of character interaction I like to see. I am sure that meeting Tiana and Naven made up for mean ole' Vidia.

Kadence was excited to meet Tiana. In hindsight, is was nice to just sit and soak it all in.

It was a bit wierd how it happened, but I understand she does play a bit of an standoffish character.

We were alone while the parade was going by, but once it was over the line grew quickly.

We headed over to the Hall of Presidents, and the girls were interested in the displays.









We were impressed with the show. Makes a person a little prouder to be an American.

We then headed over to the Liberty Belle boat. It was scheduled to go down for refurbishment the very next day, so this was our only chance.

After the cruise, we just wandered a bit, and then Sam saw the sleigh and wanted a picture! I was so surprised she actually wanted to be in a picture I jumped at the chance!



It turned into a very nice day for us. I think if Kadence hadn't gotten sick in the morning we wouldn't have slowed so much and maybe would have missed the "soaking it all in" moments.

And it's not done yet!

I'm glad too. I'm making it a point in life to really try and take things in and experience them instead of rushing them. I guess I had a moment when Sammy graduated that life goes way to fast and I need to not let it fly past without being in that moment.

After we were finished with out cruise, we were getting really hungry, as we hadn’t eaten anything since 7:30 am at Chef Mickeys. I had made a 5pm ADR at The Plaza.



We headed over there at 4:30 hoping maybe we’d get in soon. They took our name and told us to wait. I snapped a picture of the castle while waiting.



Soon we were called and in we went. Kadence wanted a PB&J and bananas. What a crazy kid!



I got the Rueben & fries



John got a burger & fries



Samantha got a Club & fries.



It was good, and it all tasted fresh. I don’t remember desert, and since I have no pictures, I can’t say what we had.
By the time we got out, the Castle had some color




And the Move it Shake it Parade was going through

More Parade








Kadence started yawning, and we didn’t want to overwhelm her, so we decided to head back to POR. The Electric Light Parade wasn’t going that night so we weren’t really missing too much We would catch Wishes the next day.
Samantha then asked if we could park hop to Epcot. She wanted pick up a couple things for friends that she apparently was undecided with back when we were in Epcot earlier in the week. I said sure and John and Kadence headed back to POR.
Over to the Monorail we headed. Sam wanted to go to Canada, and I said since we were so close to France, I wanted to get a snack from the bakery. I called John to see if he wanted something, but he said they stopped in the resort store and got a snack already. Oh, well. Anyway I got a Fruit Tart and Sam, silly Sam got a cookie



I think this picture would have turned out well, if I had a tripod!



Sam picked out some scented soap and a bracelet for her BFF, who loves Canadian stuff.
We were getting tired so we headed out and back to POR. In the mean time, John and Kadence came back to the room to find 2 of her friends were having fun in a boat.



We were all tuckered out, and went right to bed. We had an 8am ADR at the Crystal Palace, and the mission of the day was meeting Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder!

Of course, I had to look at food pictures right before lunch time. I so wish my stupid chicken sandwich was one of the delicious sandwiches served at The Plaza!

Just read through your entire TR this afternoon. Can I just say that it reads incredibly smoothly? I really like your writing voice, not to mention your pictures.

Congratulations on Sam for the scholarship, that's amazing. And she looks gorgeous in her senior pictures (and that is one beautiful prom dress).

Sounds like you enjoyed Plaza - lol at not remembering what you guys had for dessert. Though that fruit tart you got in Epcot looks yummy!
