Mom & Gmax September 2006 w/Pics!

OMG! That looked like such a fun trip! I just read the whole stinking thing! A question though....when you said that grandpa asked how you afford your trips, what exactly did he mean by that? Why would he question how you can afford yours, when he is there too? You should have asked him back the same question! So I know I'm late reading this, but I like to wait until the TR's are mostly posted and then read them, so I don't have to torture myself for days waiting for updates! I know, I'm bad. But I have three little kids and this makes it easier for me! You tiara girls look like you had so much fun. I can't wait until our trip, but it's nearly 2 years away. Hopefully I'll see people while I'm there (but how many people willingly go in June!!!..lol).

There had BETTER be ladies there next september to do tea with me, that looked like WAAAAAAAAAYYYYY too much fun.

Great trip, LOVED the yummy food pics.

Glendamax- I think you should frame that picture of you and Lisa for whenever you might need a "pick me up"! I am sure that pic could do it-You can just peek at it and think back :goodvibes
Like you said - how special- someone ( you dont even know) was really hoping to meet you!!!

How awesome-

Those potatoes from Ohana look lethal. hmmm

I dont think I'll be going in Sept. again because I'd really like to see it in the fall or winter.

Come in December and I'll fock you silly! :goodvibes

GMax, you are a girl after my own heart! Thank you soooo much for sharing all the details and photos from your trip with us. I was with you in spirit on every ride, attraction and meal you had. It seems that we are so much alike! The DISers who got to meet you and spend time with you are very lucky. And you made me want to get that OCR china, too! Anyhow, you definitely have a gift with words (and a great sense of humor) ... making your report a true joy to read. Love ya ... Dixiedizfan

P.S. Loved those Lessons Learned!

Gmax...thanks for the rest of your TR! I have been sitting on pins & needles to see how the last night went.

Great report Gmax, I really enjoyed reading it. I am so glad your mom decided to ride EE, after all I did guarantee her that there was no upside down turns or serious drops. I remember telling her that at dinner in the Coral Reef. I so enjoyed our conversation during the meal, it was a pleasant break from the thunderous noise all around us. Yes, I am the Canadian that sat at the next table. :goodvibes

The December meets that I was telling you about happen during MouseFest, I hope this link works, there is a ton of info there.

This will be my third time attending and it is wonderful to meet people from the boards. :thumbsup2

If you like really long trip reports with LOTS of personal info and excellent narratives, then you may want to skip this one. I WILL try to do better than last year's, but a juicey novel, this is not . . .
Juicy novel no, but this is an awesome trippie Gmax! Great pix and you crack me up.

EPCOT DAY!!! The fantasy was finally a reality, I was waking up in Disney World! The night before I set up a wake up call so my Mother could answer the phone and be surprised. I looked at the clock, and had under five minutes before the call, so I went into the bathroom. The phone finally rang . . .and rang . . . rang . . . and rang . . . then stopped. My mother did NOT answer it!!!! :furious: A few minutes later the phone rang . . . and rang . . . then she finally answered! I asked who it was. She said that it was some haracter telling her to wake up. She said," I was trying not to kill you, but I might just have to!" :rotfl2: And so, our day began.
Not only is your mother adorable, she cracks me up!

This time I took off my sandals to enjoy the ride. My Mother was confused/upset . . . "Why are you taking your shoes off? What's going to happen to them? (she looks around to see if other people have their's off) Well what's going to happen if they are gone when you come back (she rolls her eyes). The people to her right are now listening in. You see, my Mother does not believe most of what I tell her. Even though I'd been on this about 4 times, to her I STILL don't know what I'm talking about.
:rotfl:

I am just starting this tale. I love you and your mom! Great job Glenda! :thumbsup2

Help, you and Utah Mama seem to be very wisely in the ways of room decorations and green mickey heads. Where can I go to read up about them and the Home Depot connection?

Hi Gmax!!!!!!!!I share your opinion of 'Ohana.....
The place was beautiful, the view, fantastic....the service....missing :magnify:

I did LOVE the salad , the chicken wings and the scalloped potatoes, But were they all supposed to be cold.....?!
And the SkewerGuys never came to our table,, so we sat kinda dumbfounded
All In all though, it sounds like you had an amazing time.
By the By............ I looked for you and UtahMama everywhere I went that week,, I even wore my LGMH on my purse.............Only one Disser at Coronado Springs Pepper Market spotted it and came over.

I'm thinkin' of opening a little Sandwich shop that would feature those little finger sandwiches, with all home made salads.........I want to call it......
"Janwiches"...........It's been a life long dream of mine....
Oh well ,,,maybe someday........

---------------------------------------------jan :surfweb:
P.S.
Thanks for the AMAZING TR.............
I think someone seriously needs to Print and Bind the TR's of our
GlendaMax, UtahMama, Me(l) our #1 Happyhaunt, Horsegirl,TwinkieMama
TicToc.....ZZUB.........DISarranged Alphabetically of course!
It would be a virtual Bestseller on the shelves for Hundreds of weeks......
I'll do the pictures for it!!!!! Heh, heh,I think some of you know what that means!! :rolleyes1

Fantastic report Glendamax... you had me rolling at points. Glad you had such a great trip with your mother.

I always meant to tell you I laugh when I see your user name because my dh aunt is named Glenda and his uncle, her dh is named Max. LoL, goofy I know.

:thanks: Great TR! The only thing I would've like to see is a picture of you being focked. Can you post that on the DIS boards? :scratchin

HI!!!!!! You actually found me!!!!!! Thank you for posting! I see I got the name of the website WRONG! Please send me the correct name.

Thanks for encouraging us to get on Expedition Everest. I will admit that it was scary, and almost too much for me - but fun.

Thanks again for posting!

The Mouse on my computer just stopped working, so posting this was a PAIN! Any helpful hints? :confused3

Gmax, check and make sure that it is still connected to your computer. Sometimes they come loose a little bit. You may have already done this, but it is worth checking.

Also check the batteries and if you have changed them don't forget to push the little button on the mouse the same time you push the connect button on the other part.
