Mom & Gmax September 2006 w/Pics!

I always hate the last day. It is like time flies when you at Disney, but goes so slow at work and waiting on payday.

What, no Tower of Terror? that should be a piece of cake after EE.

The last day is alway bittersweet :( and it's a heart breaker walking out the gates.

So true. :guilty:

GM - I guess u need to start planning your next trip or let your mother plan it.

A side note- To fry oreos:
Make funnel cake batter, dip oreo in and put in very hot oil till it is golden brown and we like to cover ours with powdered sugar

If you get a cravin, enjoy!

The envelope of DOOM!
:rotfl: Actually, I'm kind of partial to the Envelope of Doom - thanks to the envelope part, you don't have to actually see anything until you're ready. You know, after you've had 1,2, 8 cocktails for instance. Much better than the bill folded over so as to immediately see the total and stuffed under the door method.

BUT, the Envelope of Doom also means your TR is soon coming to an end, and that's not making me happy at all! :sad1:

You and your mom are great! I agree that the backlot tour is good only if you need to sit down for awhile. So sad to leave the last park! And then they rub salt in the wound by leaving the envelope of DOOM to welcome you back to your room. :sad1:

I do so wish u had heard my screaming GMAX from the monorails the last 3 days/nites we were there(hoping u were in earshot) LOL
Lets plan for next time! :Pinkbounc

Tea with The Tiaras part deux!

I can't do it! I can't talk about the last meal yet. So I 'll talk about "The Tiaras". I hope that they will like the pictures of them that I am about to post. If not, PM me and I'll delete it. (after all, one of them does have blackmail on me - a photo that makes me look like a Meth Addict! I DO NOT want that on here!)

Before I introduce everyone, I'd like to say that this Tea was beautiful. And no, none of these people were crazy. That's what I worried about, what would I do if one or all of them turned out to be total NUT JOBS?! Would I have to stay until the tea is over? Or should I fake a headache or an ADR I forgot about and leave? What will we talk about? I don't really KNOW these people? What if they say they are going to show me their rooms, and they murder me?!!!!

Well, it turned out to be a great time. I think the server was actually irratated, because we were irratated with her interrupting us with the tea service! At one point, I even started talking to UtahMama about how I thought the server was mean - I didn't say this to the rest of The Tiaras for fear that they would think I was really the mean one, and after all, UtahMama is my friend, and I can say ANYTHING to her - WAIT! I don't REALLY know this lady either! SHE could be the REAL murderer! (just look at her picture . . .) :rotfl2:

So here's the bunch - they are natural posers by the way, and yes they really do look this good in person. Whereas Animal Kingdom had undone any hairdo or anything I had!

MY MOMMY!
IMG_0766-1.jpg

I forgot to say how mine and UtahMama's blouses were almost exactly the same, but mine was a coral color! And one of the funniest things I heard was from Eeyore's Tiara as we were hugging: "You are much taller than you look in your picture!"

I know I'll think of more to say, but I have to go. But just like with the previous installments, I'll just come back and edit in more stuff in!

Smooches!

I'm continuing to enjoy your TR and looking forward to the rest. Thanks for the update on the tea. Looks like a special place. I have met people IRL from other message boards and it is a little scary at first. But, it is fun, when you start to think about all the interactions of these people that live in various parts of the country/world and that we interact with them on a daily basis and they become an integral part of our lives. Glad you were able to meet so many and not get murdered :rotfl:

Glenda!!!

1)Every one ELSE looks sophisticated and worldly... I, on the other hand, look like I AM going to murder someone or like I'm a mean smiling person! EEEK! Did you photo shop in more wrinkles on me?

2) Love bugs! Those connected bugs who are forever, um, "Hugging", are evil and sick! I think I ate one too. :scared: A CM who was a boat skipper told us they were an experiement gone horribly wrong at the U of Miami. He elaborated with Twinkie-smart sounding facts, so I think he was correct. They are resistant to pesticides and the bane of our exsistence in the World!!!!

3) You are suposed to wave at the parades! Thanks for the MGM parade photos! We located ourselves under the big hat in the shade and couldn't see but the tops of everybody's heads!

4) Tammy&Tommy- how do you hold an oreo dipped in funnel cake batter while you deep fry it? With tongs? Or do you just plunk it in the hot oil?

5) I hate the envelope of DOOM!

You do not want any further direction about this! I am determined not to EVER EAT something like that again. It was soooooo good, and I know it has to be bad for you! I do not want to look any bigger in my pictures next year!

Tammy&Tommy you are banned from giving any further instructions!

(Hands over ears)
LaLaLaLa I can't hear you . . .

Glenda, I have really, really, ever so much enjoyed your trip report!!! Thank you for writing and posting pictures. In this crazy day and age, reading your TR reminds me that there are so many nice people out there in the world to meet, and it warmed my heart to see and read about your trip with mom and the tiara tea party with new friends!
Princess Glenda, next heroine of the newest Disney animated blockbuster......!!! We need you!

Ive really enjoyed your report and photos - the tea looked like so much fun. My mom and dad come with DH and I on almost all of our trips (me and her are the disney nuts - the guys - not so much) and it makes for wonderful memories. hoping we can fit in a tea one of these times

thanks for sharing!

I heard that too from our bus driver. We drove through a swarm of them on the way to MCO and *splat* all over the huge windsheild. It was gross! I don't think I ate one, though. :p

Hey, any pics of the food that was for tea? lol

Nice photos of all the ladies :)

I don't like those lovebugs either

Hey, hey, hey now.... Just a minute there. :hourglass I was one of those non murdering people she met! :teeth: And I am glad that we all took the chance to meet up. It was the highlight of our trip. :goodvibes I now have really good friends in different parts of the country that I would not have otherwise met! :thumbsup2

Oh! Were just talking about the people that walked up to her in the parks??? Oops!

Umama, you do look mean in that picture. I didn't notice you looking mean at the tea, but Gmax caught it on film! :teeth: Ya'll were all really sweet and there were no axe murderes to be found anywhere. Was the server really mean? I didn't notice, I was having too much fun with all of you! :goodvibes

Hey are those what those bugs were? :scared: They were everywhere, I kept swatting them out of the way. My littlest kept screaming when they'd get near her. Thankfully we didn't see too many of them! :)
