I going to miss dinner with you, because I'm having dinner at LeCellier. BUT since that night is an evening emh at MK, if my feet and legs arent Jello, I'll come over to hang out with you all. You're all wearing the same color shirts right? Is it green? I'll try to match up wiht you. Is your cell number the same? Do you still have mine? If so, I'll call you that night to let you know what I'm gonna do.

I got a call yesterday from my friend that works for the company I just left. She is the manager of the team I wanted to be on. She has an opening and wants me to fill it. The Senior Director asked that I call him today. I sent him an email this morning to coordinate a time to call him. The entire conversation lasted less than 10 minutes. The last two minutes of the call were devoted to discussing another potential employee I'd like for him to check out.
I told him that I wanted the same benefits package I had when I left, including 3 weeks paid vacation. I wanted my 401(k) contributions to kick in July 1st, like they would have if I'd never left. I also wanted him to match the $$ I'm making at this job. He said he didn't think any of that would be a problem but he'd have to double check on the 401(k) part with HR. He might not be able to change that if it's corporate policy. He also wants me to start back in two weeks and hit the ground running.
I'd be working on the Administration team, back with my best friends. I'd have NO contact beyond passing in the hall with the previous manager that caused me such grief.
I'm really, really excited about this opportunity. He said I should have something in writing today or tomorrow. As soon as I get it, I'm going to let my current place know that I'm leaving. Yeehaw!!

Maybe I'll take a day or two off work. I'll have to give that one some thought.

S/G, which David did you want to win last night? I was rooting for David Cook, young David has a nice voice....but has some serious parental issues! I wonder if everything that had been said about his overbearing father ended up costing him the title???

Did any of you hear on the news last night that they are saying gas may hit $6 a gallon by the end of summer? If that's the case, we're taking Shawn's new car to Disney whether he likes it or not! . Some guy on the Today show this morning was saying that by next summer we could be paying $12 a gallon WTH??? I think I may need to start looking at vespa's for my 80 mile round trip commute to work!

I know what you mean about leading an exciting life, I have absolutely no plans at all this coming weekend.....my husband has to work sunday and monday, and now we have an injured dog at home - so even if he wasn't working, we couldn't have gone anywhere anyways! I am chaperoning my daughters class fieldtrip to Plimouth Plantation next week though....Kellie has already informed me "not to embarrass her"....now would I do that???

So are you going out for dinner tonight, or calling for delivery???

S/G, which David did you want to win last night? I was rooting for David Cook, young David has a nice voice....but has some serious parental issues! I wonder if everything that had been said about his overbearing father ended up costing him the title???

First, I really hope it wasn't his dad that cost him the title. I couldn't believe the difference in votes... 12 million more for David Cook. WOW!! I really wanted Cook to win but I was so afraid that Archuleta performed better on Tuesday.

We're going to Florida for a week mid-July. I checked on airfare prices today and I'm teetering on the bink of booking them. We'll only fly into Atlanta and drive down because after Florida, we're driving up to my Dad's house in NW Alabama. It wouldn't save us time or money to drive back down to Jacksonville, FL just to fly home. I think this might be a better solution 1) because gas will be so vey expensive and 2) this cuts off a days driving (2 tanks of gas) and 2 hotel rooms. If gas is $60 for each fill up and a hotel room between $75 & $100, the the RT airfare of $500 & $300 for a rental car isn't looking too crazy.

Hey Wic, I'd like to chime in on AI. I thought that Cook should've won because he easier to market, and will sell well. I think "young" David is good, but doesnt't have a niche yet. Hopefully in 2010, he'll have a great cd out! As for his Dad, I wonder if the media started that just to make things a bit interesting.

And by the way, I started SCREAMING and JUMPING when Seal came out on stage! That made my day!!!! I still can't believe it!!!!!!! I LOVE HIM!!!!

So....I just got into work, 2-1/2 hours late...want to know why I was late? Someone STOLE my car last night!

Now what I can't figure out is why someone would steal my 05 Malibu Maxx, when there's an 08 Chevy Cobalt, 04 Monte Carlo Intimidator and a 77 Corvette sitting in the driveway also! Not that I'm wishing bad things on my husband, but why the h*ll didn't they take one of HIS cars instead?????

Now that I'm officially having the week from h*ll, first the dog and now this, what on earth can I expect to happen next????

I can't even begin to tell you just how p*ssed I am right now, and I have to still be pleasant to my customers when they call in today, which I don't expect to get alot of calls after 12:00 today anyways!

I'm mad, mad, mad! My head hurts, and I need a drink or two or three, oh heck give me a keg!
