WIC, as a mil I have rules. I made them up myself. The main one is to treat my children, grandchildren and the spouses as I wanted to be treated. It is a simple concept. I doubt that I accomplish it ALL the time but I sure do try.

If you love your grandkids you have to think about what is best for them. Period, end of story. I have even kept my mouth shut when I might should not have for the sake of the kids (close to child abuse).

It sounds as if your mil is just a very flawed person in all aspects of her life and not just with dil's.

I cannot understand those who take care of their grandkids and then complain about it. Some might be fishing for 'thank you's". Others just enjoy being martyrs.

I always remember that my grandchildren are NOT my children and they live by their parent's rules and not mine and believe you me, that is a hard one for me. Education is king with me and sports is for their dad.

It is a shame that some folks have to be told off forcefully in order to behave nicely. If some folks were told, strongly, often enough the same thing by many folks they might get a clue. Maybe. They would be happier for it also. I think.

What is your bowling average? Mine is 50, if I play 3 games and combine the scores. However, I do get very high scores in golf. Evens out. grin

I'm a candlepin bowler, I know, most of you have never heard of it!!!! The balls are about the size of a softball and the pins are taller and thinner! It's very popular in New England and Canada! My candlepin average is 103 ...which is considered a very good womans average!

Actually candlepin bowling was invented before ten pin bowling! It's been around alot longer than the "big balls".

I think it's sooo funny when you see a family come into the bowling alley and they just stand there and watch, then when they finally start to bowl you see flashes start to go off from camera's! Alot of them seem to be from Ohio!!!

Hope we all had a pleasant evening last night

So as we have started this list of times I also need the place that you are staying at Please.

Now let me explain so everyone doesn't jump to conclusions here the "bachlorette party doesn't mean the the men etc. it means either hanging out at one of the pools with everyone or going to one of the parks and hanging out or going out for diner or both what ever the majority comes to an agreement on.

I am thinking on doing it on Sunday night the 7th going to MK (they have Extra Magic Hours) and having dinner there or we can have dinner somewhere close and then go to the park.

Anyone up for the adventure???????????

help... need some postive thoughts come my way....LOL I had modified my vaca so much one CM had accidentally canceled me and all the rooms now all over the world is booked.. so I am on wait list for April 21st checking out the 25th.... but they have a back up plan for me that if I dont get the wait list with my points they have me booked Carribean beach for those nites... waaahhhh... Ok.. who have stayed at thesuites that they are promoting here or the royal hotel... any feed back will be highly appreacited... but am to scared to venture to the dark side... '
if someone will just cancel at Pop I will be the happiest chickeedee in town1

I'm back and I survived the weekend visit with my my nephews who are 4 and 5 and their mother. I basically babysat 3 mentally challanged kids and could sleep for a week now. Even my son went to sleep early when they left saying they zapped his energy and he has never, ever gone to bed early on his own. My heart goes out to all 3 of them with all they are challenged with.

Ang, I can imagine how tired you are. The mental stress will wear you out far faster than physical stress. You are so special to do that for their family. It makes the world of difference in their lives but you know that.

I am enjoying reading about all of your plans. I am keeping mum cause I am waiting to see if they offer Free Dining and if I can find someone to drive down with me that I am compatible with. A lady at TOPS offered to come with me but even though her food would be free she would raise a stink about having to pay the 18% tip for the TS as well as other things and that would drive me bonkers. I have enough quirks of my own to know that I would not want to inflict myself on most anyone either. Just going with the flow, I are.

well atleast Nancy have a place to stay on her 1st nite... So far... we are wait listed for the 21,22,23 and as off today we have AKL Savannah View for the 24th... But the CM suggested I place a ressie for the only place available which is CBR for those 3 nites.. Soooooooooo me and Nancy will be hopping the whole time... I warned you Nancy!!! Anybod elese wanna come join the crazy roller coaster ride ??? Hahahahahaha
