janjandis, are you the lady who I kept running into in September 2007? I have been going nuts cause I have gobs of pictures of she and me and I did not write down her name, as I usually do, cause I knew I would not forget it. I think she had a daughter who was trying out for a job at DW.

Hey, Pooh, put me down for two for CP as well but that is way up in the air as I usually only go to MK when they have Spectro and there is none planned that night. It is easier to cancel than to add I figure.

Jan, I was giving you a hard time for being gone so long. I done messed you up in my mind so very much that you are now very memorable to me. If only everyone else was. I know the names, I know some of the faces, I know some stories but sorting them all out in my mind is very difficult. You are my Canadian friend. See, I remembered.

It looks as if many of the 'usual suspects' are going to be there in September. Fantastic!

Now if someone was going the end of June and would give me a lift. Hint, hint. lol Wanna bet that I could make a sign and stand at any I-65 exit with a LGM and find a ride???

Back to pulling nails out of the windows so that I can drill new holes tomorrow. Fun never ends, does it???

I done got plumb confused and called today to book the trip. I had March and April confused folks. See what happens when your husband retires and you no longer have to keep track of the days??? Have to wait for Monday I guess.

I am hedging my bets and thinking of booking from 08/30-08/13 for 14 nights just in case my friend has to back out or something. I can always cancel half of those dates or so if she cannot go for so long, unlikely. We are middle aged which means that either WE might get sick or our grandkids might and either way we can't go. If worse gets to worse I can always bring Tom and leave him in the Tiki Room. I would bring him a Dole Whip occasionally. I am not heartless ya know. I have a nice stack of one day tickets to use after my AP runs out on the 9th.

I have written down the date of the 7th for the big party and am going to attempt to book into POP so I can sit and watch all you wild women carry on. It is all I am able to do now but I am good for bail money.



ANTS, I cannot hear, I have heard every cuss word that is possible to hear and know the exact meaning of them also, I can duck. However, I like to watch TV until late in the night, sleep late and move slowly and do not ride anything more scary than Peter Pan.

Ants, I am an old married lady with heavy responsibilities so I do not get out to play hardly ever let alone on short notice. If some of you veteran wives/mothers out there can tell me your secret on how you get all your work done and still have time (let alone permission) for fun I would surely appreciate it. Seems like I did far more a few decades ago, workwise that is.

I am going to call Monday and get Free Dining. I am hoping to be able to get into POP but I am able to drive between Sports and POP if necessary. I appreciate your thoughtfulness though. Please do not continue it though as I am so unaccustomed to it that it might generate a heart attack.

I am so looking forward to getting this renovation project done so that I can start in on the backporch. I am behind schedule already. If I get the windows and such done this weekend I can call the electrician and have him put up my new light fixture. No, I cannot do that myself. I can do switches and plugs though. I am even going to treat myself and have a couple of new plugs put in to make some of my chores a bit easier. One set is for the new flat screen TV I hope to be able to afford after I get the transmission fixed on the truck and pay our current doctor's visits. Thank God for good insurance.

Pooh, I had great respect for you before but now I have even more. I have always felt badly for those brides who had so many details to take care of (might be why they turn to Bridezillas??) that they could not really enjoy the day and even more for those who rushed off for a honeymoon after wearing themselves out for any possible 'recreation' that a honeymoon DEMANDS. I almost killed myself doing a wedding reception for my son's last marriage and if I had had a wedding to do now we could have had a double ceremoney, his wedding and my funeral, which come to think of it might have been the perfect wedding present for my dear dil.

The rest of us DISers expect a whole report, with pictures, of this wedding you know?? Might even rival that of my dear friend Janet2K who is a legend round these parts. Nancy, if you have not read that report you MUST so that you can start to plan your tenth wedding anniversary at DW, where else? You would not believe the possiblities, if your wallet can handle it.

Holes drilled, two brackets put up. COPD does not allow you to do a whole lot at any given time. Not breathing is the leading cause of death, ya know??

Yeah, I did the mojito party. I was there approximately the same week last year. 9/8 - 9/16 last year. How was last years glow in the dark party?

I actually have a dinner res at Chef Mickey's. My husband and son are out, so I'll run that idea by him when he gets back. Would it be a problem if we took up 3 spaces in that 20 person reservation?
