Mojito Monkey Mama's 2 cont'd

Whew! Finally the book fair ends today. I've been so busy the last 7 days, running around like a chicken with my head cut off. I'm so glad soemone else is doing the book fair next year. Each morning before work, I've gone to the school to drop off the money box & start setting up for opening. After work, I pick up the money box (or hubby did), count it all out & break it down into paper money, coins, checks & CC totals. Then create the start up box fo rthe next day. This wouldnt' be so bad if DD didn't have ballet & tap on Mondays from 5:45 until 7:15. Tuesday night we had a Operation Smile fundraiser, Wednesday night I have dance class from 7 until 9pm and last night the book fair hours were extended until 8pm.
I arrived home at 8:20 to discover my hubby working on his race car in the garage and my 6 year old daughter had made herself a cheese sandwich.... with 5 pieces of bread & 4 pieces of cheese. She called it a double, double decker. I brought home McDonald's so she quickly abandoned the 1/2 sandwich remaining on her plate.

Today I leave work a bit early to break down the book fair & pack it back up for shiping back to Scholastic. I do the closing paperwork, write up my report fotr the board.... then I'm having a drink. A very big drink. maybe 2 drinks.

A few times this week I've attempted to speak to CymbalDiva (BFF) on the phone or IM to plan our September trip. We need to work out which park on which day to make sure our reservations are correct. Unfortunately, I haven't really had free time that worked into her life & vice versa. I swear, this weekened.... we're hammering out the whole Thursday AM we'll be in MK, Thursday PM we'll be in Epcot, etc.

Rei,
I remember those days then DS went to Middle School and I didn't bother with PTO anymore. The bookfair was a lot of work and nobody ever seemed to want to help out. I do so love books though so I never said no back then. Now I just support them by purchasing books each year.

Gmax,
I like your name the best too. It's good to see you on the thread.

Angela

Thank you Kelli!!! :flower3:

I'm going to the Halloween Party on Tues. 9/9. Is anyone else going? Are you all wearing costumes? Or lime shirts, maybe with "DISboards" on it? Lemme no!

I have to look at my plans again for 9/7. I think that's the night I'm supposed to meet DISers at EPCOT's LeCellier for dinner. Plus this year, my Mother and one of my gf's will be with me. So I'll see what's up.

Is anyone staying at AKL? Or just Pop? Let me know what the plans are so I can see if I can meet up with you all - if my feet and legs allow at the end of the day . . .

Glad I found this thread! OH! As for a character name, I looked at the list, and I still like "GMAX" the best!!! :snooty: HA!

Smooches!!!
-G

PS . . . Start stocking up on Dollar Store Glow in Dark Goodies!!!! (Come on, you're never to old to GLOW!!!!)

I'm considering going to the halloween party on the 9th, this way if my husband wants to leave a little earlier on Saturday we can, and we won't be exhausted from the party the night before.

Hey Vix is that going to be your name on your shirt SNORT? I like it :rotfl:

What names are left on that list?

I'm going to have to bribe my husband into wearing matching shirts.....my family has never been to a park and worn matching shirts, it's just so against our policies! :rotfl2: Heck, I remember busting on my ex-husband at our 5year class reunion for showing up wearing matching shirts with his then new wife..geeks! :rolleyes1 But seeing that we're driving down, we'll have alcohol readily available, so it might be a possibility!

So....what's left?????

Hey Vixie...the pile on my desk is going down, I may get that call into you today!!!! :yay:

SG,
Glad DH is doing well. Now it's time to take care of you. Forget the German heritage for at least a day.

Hey has anyone heard from Jettsetter lately?

Not sure when we are going. I have to look at our ADR's I think on the 9th we are at CP for breakfast but I am not sure. If we are then that would prolly be the day we would do MNSSHP. I would hate to rush dinner to get over there. We have some late dinners.

Watch out gals we better be scared as to what we say on these boards cuz "people" think they are making fun of us :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :thumbsup2 Oh thats right We are the ones NOT IN HIGH SCHOOL!!!!

Pooh, when you get as old as I you will not fret nor worry if someone is laughing at/with or whatever. I am an acquired taste, some folks like me, some do not but then I do not like everyone equally either, although I must admit I pretty much can find something to like in most anyone, unless they are mean to children or animals. :scared1:

crzykid, it is good to be alone once in awhile. How can you miss your husband if he never leaves??:confused3

angwill, forget I am German? Probably not but I can say that I have overcome my need for world dominance. :rotfl2: It is a Sisyphean task to get this house and its environs cleaned though. If I am ever able I plan to move to a one bedroom trailer outside Clearwater where I will not be able to find so much to do and be close to my favorite place. Might go to two bedrooms in case anyone wants to visit though.

Vix, wonder if I can guess what book you have been reading? "Snort!" (Are You My Mother?) The kids get tickled cause I always say that is the dumbest bird I have ever seen. I think I have it memorized, along with Green Eggs and Ham.

SG/Linda

All the characters from Tarzan, Most from Jungle Book and I think Shenzi, Bonzi (you know who needs that one...LOL) and Ed from Lion King

You really need to do the matching shirt thing. OMG, we get soooooo many compliments from guests and CM's alike and I think our custom YOMD shirts are the reason we got to open Toontown in March. Boy was the one lady left behind p.o.'d
Promise or a threat on the phone call?:lmao:

Dont worry about it, the more you mention it the more they jump on it and feed off it. Petty people are not worth my time or energy, I have better things to do. The ignore feature can be used and used well.

BOLDED :thumbsup2
Can I book a room for July, 16, 2042?:rotfl:
LOL...I actually didnt think about that but I always wondered, why the cat didnt eat it, and yeah like that digger machine is going to take that bird all the way back to its nest...:rotfl2: I think too much about these things.
Would you do it on a chair with a bear? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Okay Gang,

Some of you that want to do the GG I know I have asked for this a million times now but I also need dates again sorry my mind isn't like it used to be;) To much stress at this so called job of mine. I actually I am cleaning my Desk out right now still haven't made my mind up totally about leaving but still very peeved off about the whole thing so as 2 of the gals tried to put to me yesterday stay until after the wedding then leave(which I think is what I might do, Thanks Timmy,Wic:thumbsup2 )but still taking all of my personal things home and only giving them what I get paid for which isn't much.

Vixie,
Gigglesnort wasn't there a Gigglesnort hotel in one of the cartoons? lol I like it and could you see the comments you'd get with that name on a shirt.

Nancy,
I agree to wait till after the wedding so you still have the income. By then you will be past that initial phase of extremely PO'd and know what your true feelings are. This is a time when you should be celebrating and happy try not to let your feelings toward others get in the way of that or you are only hurting yourself.
