End of September is fine....Friday night is ok too, I'll just take a couple days off from work! No biggie!

I am here... having coffee and still contemplatign what is lunch.... did I mention last nite was my last nite at work.. my gosh.. I went home with a truckful of food.. I felt like I was going to war with all my care packages... brought 3 rottiserri chicken from boston market.. a big lasagna pan size of lo mein... a big pan of stir fried veggies.. cakes and pastries.... gift cards for applebees... Ruby Tuesdays.. PF Changs... And Panda express house... it was and the whole 8 hour shift all I did was sob like a baby!!! I am going to miss them... today I am trekking on a new route... hoepfully I last that long here...

Nancy!!! I just follow the 25-3 rule... when you check labesl.. when it is 25 g of total carb ... you have to have atleast 3g of dietabery fiber in it.. the lower the number for the carb and the higher the number for fiber is the best way to go!

or.. just stay away from anything white from now till your big day!

Hey ladies, its been a week or more since I've posted, I think. I'm glad to see that you're all doing well. Timmy - congrats on starting the new job. I hope you love it. I'm sure you'll LOVE the commute. I started a new job back in January and I'm not loving it at all. The people are nice. It really isn't what I wanted to do, especially long term. I'm not using all of my job skills, so I'm afraid that I'm going to lose them. All of this is made worse by how inflexible the job is. When I interviewed, I made it plain that I was looking for a bit of flexibility. If my daughter is home sick, I'd like to be able to work from home. If she has a doctor's appointment in the late afternoon, I'd like to be able to leave an hour early and just make it up later in the week or work from home that night. Yesterday, I had to take a 1/2 day leave to take my daughter to a 4:15 appointment. 4 hours leave! The company requires leave to be used in 1/2 or whole days. So, for one hour early, I got screwed out of leave time. That just isn't what I was promised.

Well, yesterday a job opportunity fell into my lap. I heard about 2 openings on a new 3 member DBA team. I know the guy already hired and a good friend is considering the other position. I sent my resume in today and got a call within 15 minutes. I have an interview with them on Friday. This is happening so fast, I'm not yet sure if this is the job that I want.

How do I know? I don't want to make another mistake and pick a company that doesn't work for me. The money and commute will be almost identical, so that won't matter. What do I do????​

Well you should go to the interview with an open mind and be straight forward about your situtation and ask many many questions and tell them what you expect in a company (as to how they treat employees etc) so there are no miss understandings again. You then go home go over everything that was said and make a check list up the pros and cons list, and go from there as to what your heart tells you. Always follow your heart, thats what I believe!!! okay well I try at least.

okay i have some very very bad news for you all!!!!!!

I think we have to cancel our trip to WDW in Sept. so we can plan and do all the things I need to do for the wedding so it looks as if I won't be going
