I am here!!!!

I tried to be nice the first few fits but after a bit it just got to be too much and when she picked on the sweetest gal there I had no choice but to do my thing and trust me that is NOT something I do often, once every decade or so.
What a lovely, albeit interesting, time you guys had of it. Am I to think that you are going to have your wedding or reception at the Cleveland Zoo? Heck, if I did not have my husband to worry about I might be tempted to come to see your wedding and, in your honor, wear shoes even. That is my idea of going formal ya know?? The rings are lovely. The flowers are right up my alley. I like something a bit unusual but still classy. Just like YOU. Bet that you are able to plan a perfect wedding for this particular bride. Make sure to take lots of pictures of everything along the way so that you might use some of the details as a prototype for your consulting business. I am having a hard time thinking that you are not doing a Disney wedding though. I was amazed to read that you could do so for as little as $2,000. I do not think I care to contemplate the upper regions of that expense though.
I can connect you with the famous Janet2K if you want hints on how to celebrate your tenth anniversary though.

jetsetter90, do you ever find that you are reluctant to call your favorite folks cause you KNOW you will be on the phone for a couple of delightful hours and know you do not have the time , no matter how much you WANT to? Many important things go undone here because something more important happened. Also, why, when folks notice that something did not get done do they look at ME and never my husband?

Got nothing else done, but I knew I wouldn't .
.
I am so proud of you for putting that woman in her place she needed it.I had to back up a few pages cause if I try to do that when posting I lose my posts.
Wic, did you get all dried out? We got the snow. It was a lot but did not stick around long. Winter is nearly over so we will have a whole new set of weather problems to complain about. I can tell you true that in all my many years I can NEVER remember a year that folks did not say was 'unusual'. Seems unusual is normal. Might as well accept it.![]()

I am now just getting the notification that there was a new post to our thread holy crap well at least I got one this time![]()

What's going on????
I have heard everything that there is to hear, more than a few times. Nothing surprises me anymore. I also have a 30 foot phone cord as well as many cordless phones so I can do more than one thing at a time.
That and an extra wireless door bell chime that sits on my desk. When I cannot get someone off the phone and I really need to I press the button and then I can 'honestly' say "Sorry, the doorbell is ringing". Feel free to use with my permission.
They all proposed on the first date too. I was dumb when I was young.
Our daughter just got another promotion at work, second of the year, and so we took them out to eat to celebrate. By the time I got home I was barely able to hang onto the banister and hoist myself up the stairs to the bed. If the house had burned down last night I would not have known.![]()
Pooh, I love the idea of you getting married at the Akron Zoo. Nothing ordinary or mundane for you guys. If I could I would be there, with shoes on, but I am not in shape to cross the street most days. I am going to rest up a bit and see what happens. What fun it is going to be to see and read about your preparations. I have only had one big wedding and it lasted longer than the marriage. I had the opposite problem from you, too many proposals and all from the wrong men. They all proposed on the first date too. I was dumb when I was young.

You know those first dresses we looked at that were like 190 bucks well if we buy thoses at the place I got my gown then we get a 15% discount on them I don't know if that is still fesiable or not for you gals. What do you think?
Those are my favs and then I kinda like both of the others but its up to you gals as to which one we go with as long as you all are happy.
Oh we are looking at endish of sept. is that okay with you??? Oh Friday evening.
When I was younger there were 24 hours in a day. As I age there are fewer and fewer. Some days I get out of bed and find that I am ready to crawl right back in.![]()
I drove a long ways off to see my youngest grandson play ball yesterday. There team got whomped both games but my boy acquitted himself well in that he scored over half of all points garnered but he was about wore out having played 8 quarters in a row.

No updates coming this way so I had to hunt you all down. Well worth it though.![]()
Wic, have you checked to see if your gutters are cleaned and if they are vented away from your foundation and if there is a slope in your landscaping AWAY from your house? You would not believe how many times that those are the things that make a difference. I am blessed with a dry basement.![]()
Jet, so you are the shoulder that everyone leans on too??I have heard everything that there is to hear, more than a few times. Nothing surprises me anymore. I also have a 30 foot phone cord as well as many cordless phones so I can do more than one thing at a time.

Desk work today as my legs are rebelling against climbing any ladders. Hope I can find something good to listen to on TV while working away.![]()

We thought we somewhat fixed the problem when we had the driveway re-done last summer, we had them make a berm that went about 6' beyond the bulkhead....did fix the problem somewhat, but on the last storm the water was coming down the driveway soooo fast that it just pouring over the berm like it wasn't even there! We plan on extending the bulkhead and raising it a cinderblock higher this summer...so it won't be ground level anymore! It's a royal pain in the butt, and the problem would be easily fixed if the town would put draining in....but for years the town has considered our property to be their personal dry well! We've been to the town twice now asking for help...and have gotten no where with them! Which is why I've been documenting all the flooding and newspaper reports of the problem. Some day hopefully the town will help us!
I've even considered contacting our local congressman for help, because I've been told it's against the law for a town to allow run off to freely flow onto a private citizens property.
