I am here!!!!

What do you mean it's not much.....it's 45 pounds! That's awesome! :thumbsup2

Good job Timmy!!! :woohoo: :yay:

You look great by the way! :yay:

Timmy,
You look so hot!!! Ohmigosh, you look really great. I'm so proud of you. I'm so jealous but I know it hasn't been easy. I've been doing the gym 3 days a week, but I can't tell a difference yet. I meet with a personal trainer tomorrow, hopefully she'll be able to help me.

Timmy if you get this before I get to call you please email me your personal email address.

I have another dress I need you to look at.

As big as I still am there just is not enough of me to go round these days. Big trauma at my TOPS club and I am the only one to defend the rest from a bully of a woman who was doing things that you would not believe even if I had the time to tell you all about it. BTW, I won gals. I think that I took a tip from our Pooh when I threatened to body slam her. :rotfl2: I tried to be nice the first few fits but after a bit it just got to be too much and when she picked on the sweetest gal there I had no choice but to do my thing and trust me that is NOT something I do often, once every decade or so.

Two friends are having problems this week. Ones husband is going to Indpls as they think he has stomach cancer and she does not know anyone who stays up as late as I do. (3 am last night) and another is having her 20 year old cornea transplant fail now. Her husband is a major drunk and not much support. And this is why I do not watch soap operas. I live them. :confused3

My dear Pooh, I cannot believe I am so late in sending birthday congratulations. What a lovely, albeit interesting, time you guys had of it. Am I to think that you are going to have your wedding or reception at the Cleveland Zoo? Heck, if I did not have my husband to worry about I might be tempted to come to see your wedding and, in your honor, wear shoes even. That is my idea of going formal ya know?? The rings are lovely. The flowers are right up my alley. I like something a bit unusual but still classy. Just like YOU. Bet that you are able to plan a perfect wedding for this particular bride. Make sure to take lots of pictures of everything along the way so that you might use some of the details as a prototype for your consulting business. I am having a hard time thinking that you are not doing a Disney wedding though. I was amazed to read that you could do so for as little as $2,000. I do not think I care to contemplate the upper regions of that expense though. I can connect you with the famous Janet2K if you want hints on how to celebrate your tenth anniversary though. :cheer2:

Ants, you are doing so awesomely. I am a bit jealous as I have had a huge gain because of the steriods and it is coming back off so very slowly but it is harder for us fossils. I thought you were cute and adorable before but man you are even more so now!! I did not think it possible. :worship:

I have over 200 emails from the past three days. Not much is going to get done though as I will be gone all day tomorrow and there is a chance I will be in Bloomington all weekend long as my favorite 10 year old basketball player will be playing down there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hope I survive.:dance3:

Love you gals, Linda/SG

I had to back up a few pages cause if I try to do that when posting I lose my posts.

Wic, did you get all dried out? We got the snow. It was a lot but did not stick around long. Winter is nearly over so we will have a whole new set of weather problems to complain about. I can tell you true that in all my many years I can NEVER remember a year that folks did not say was 'unusual'. Seems unusual is normal. Might as well accept it.

jetsetter90, do you ever find that you are reluctant to call your favorite folks cause you KNOW you will be on the phone for a couple of delightful hours and know you do not have the time , no matter how much you WANT to? Many important things go undone here because something more important happened. Also, why, when folks notice that something did not get done do they look at ME and never my husband?

LOL My friend has been calling me everyday for the past week and I'm bad because when I see her number I know I'll be on for good while and am either in the middle of cooking or doing something, so I don't answer. Her message yesterday was "Is it possible that you are never home anymore? Why aren't you taking my calls?" I finally broke down and called her after dinner and I was on for 1 hour and 43 minutes. Got nothing else done, but I knew I wouldn't .

Poohbear I love everything especially the new ring it is gorgeous!

Timmy OMG!! 45 pounds!!!!! That is something!!!! Please do tell how you did in 3 months...I could use to lose that much.

How nice of you S/G to think of me on my Birthday :lovestruc.

I can't believe that you of all people would be taking lessons from me:lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl2: :worship: I am so proud of you for putting that woman in her place she needed it.

Yes we will hopefully be getting married at the Akron Zoo if all the fincial things work out this is a little more expensive than a hall. Just to rent the place for 4 hours and that doesn't include catering or table clothes etc its 2500.00 for 4 hours and 200.00 per a hour after that.

You are most welcomed to come and be a apart of the wedding you know that. You are all of my family now and I wish that if everyone her on our thread could make it they are more than welcomed to attend. Just email me and let me know.:thumbsup2

Please tell your friends that we are all praying for them and hoping that everything will work out just fine and they will come through it with flying colors.

Hey SG,

Yes, we finally got the basement dried out...but then we got almost 3" of rain last Saturday, the water was completely manageable using the shop vac this time though, only had to turn on the sump pump twice and that was to empty out the shop vac! :thumbsup2

You know, we were all starting to get worried about you again! You've been disappearing for far too long lately! Stop that! :lmao:

hey we have peeps on the thread:woohoo: :cool1:

I am now just getting the notification that there was a new post to our thread holy crap well at least I got one this time:lmao: :rotfl:

I know! I never got notified when SG replied yesterday, and you replied to her this morning! :confused3 What's going on????

When I was younger there were 24 hours in a day. As I age there are fewer and fewer. Some days I get out of bed and find that I am ready to crawl right back in. :rotfl2:

I drove a long ways off to see my youngest grandson play ball yesterday. There team got whomped both games but my boy acquitted himself well in that he scored over half of all points garnered but he was about wore out having played 8 quarters in a row.

Our daughter just got another promotion at work, second of the year, and so we took them out to eat to celebrate. By the time I got home I was barely able to hang onto the banister and hoist myself up the stairs to the bed. If the house had burned down last night I would not have known. :scared1:

No updates coming this way so I had to hunt you all down. Well worth it though.

Wic, have you checked to see if your gutters are cleaned and if they are vented away from your foundation and if there is a slope in your landscaping AWAY from your house? You would not believe how many times that those are the things that make a difference. I am blessed with a dry basement. :cloud9:

Jet, so you are the shoulder that everyone leans on too?? ;) I have heard everything that there is to hear, more than a few times. Nothing surprises me anymore. I also have a 30 foot phone cord as well as many cordless phones so I can do more than one thing at a time. :rolleyes1 That and an extra wireless door bell chime that sits on my desk. When I cannot get someone off the phone and I really need to I press the button and then I can 'honestly' say "Sorry, the doorbell is ringing". Feel free to use with my permission. :rotfl2:

Pooh, I love the idea of you getting married at the Akron Zoo. Nothing ordinary or mundane for you guys. If I could I would be there, with shoes on, but I am not in shape to cross the street most days. I am going to rest up a bit and see what happens. What fun it is going to be to see and read about your preparations. I have only had one big wedding and it lasted longer than the marriage. I had the opposite problem from you, too many proposals and all from the wrong men. They all proposed on the first date too. I was dumb when I was young.

Ants, we are home but just not quite 'all here'. How ya doing you skinny thing you?

Desk work today as my legs are rebelling against climbing any ladders. Hope I can find something good to listen to on TV while working away. :thumbsup2

Okie dokie I am at work.. and starting next week I wont be able to do this since the new job dont have internet connection but I am not complaining for I am saving 2 hours and 30 minutes driving time which can compensate for my Disng time !!! Yeeepieeeeeeeeeeeeee!:surfweb:

Ants, now that I can look back on my youth from the distance of experience I can tell you that "certain" men look for "certain" women. They look for women who do not know their value and feel compelled to take care of people and make nice so folks will like them. They get them and then careful train them to believe that only they will love them and then only if they are 'perfect'. Run, run as fast as you can from the controlling, insecure men!!!:scared1:

You are wise to hold off until you meet someone who is worthy of YOU!! :worship:

Baseball Camp for me today. Okay, not ME but a certain little boy that is near and dear to my heart. He spent the night, got to sleep in late, breakfast in bed and now is watching 'Matilda". Rough life of a grandchild. :rotfl2:

Have a great day folks and I will check in later. Hooray for updates!!!

SG/Linda

You know those first dresses we looked at that were like 190 bucks well if we buy thoses at the place I got my gown then we get a 15% discount on them I don't know if that is still fesiable or not for you gals. What do you think?

Those are my favs and then I kinda like both of the others but its up to you gals as to which one we go with as long as you all are happy.

Oh we are looking at endish of sept. is that okay with you??? Oh Friday evening.

I don't mind paying the price with the discount. But it's up to Ants and your cousin. I liked the dress from Chadwicks better than the dress your cousin picked out...but that's just my opinion. The original dress is the nicest tough! :thumbsup2

End of September is fine....Friday night is ok too, I'll just take a couple days off from work! No biggie!

Hey SG,

The water problem is the fact that we live at the bottom of a hill, and our house is smack dab in the middle of two roads and both roads are higher than our property........you know what they say about all s**t rolls down hill?? Well that works for water too! We get run off from both roads they travel right down our driveway and right into our basement through the bulkhead. :headache: We thought we somewhat fixed the problem when we had the driveway re-done last summer, we had them make a berm that went about 6' beyond the bulkhead....did fix the problem somewhat, but on the last storm the water was coming down the driveway soooo fast that it just pouring over the berm like it wasn't even there! We plan on extending the bulkhead and raising it a cinderblock higher this summer...so it won't be ground level anymore! It's a royal pain in the butt, and the problem would be easily fixed if the town would put draining in....but for years the town has considered our property to be their personal dry well! We've been to the town twice now asking for help...and have gotten no where with them! Which is why I've been documenting all the flooding and newspaper reports of the problem. Some day hopefully the town will help us! I've even considered contacting our local congressman for help, because I've been told it's against the law for a town to allow run off to freely flow onto a private citizens property.
