well do you want to try and go to the wave then seeing that your schedule is tight why don't you call and make them or we could use 2 ts and go to Nacrossees(sp I know). I haven't been there or we could do beaches n cream and try and do the kitchen sink :rotfl:

I am in between chores and checking to see what you are all up to.

I have heard lots of reports that the CS option will be the one offered for FD next year and that is what is currently being told to our UK friends. I have read a report or two that it will be as is. I tend to think the former is probably true but then what do I know?

I have never heard of 'extended check in' but have booked in the last day of a deal and stayed for an additional length or either ten days or 14 according to the maximum allowable. I once had a ressie for 14 days and then another 14 days checking in for that one on the last day of the deal. It is our current record.

My grandson was asking about the Kitchen Sink the other day. Since his aunt has just found out she is pregnant and because other family members, other side of family, have money problems it appears as if their Disney trip has been called off. Grandson is interested in the fact that grandma might be going in July since there is no school then. Smart kid he.

Still looking for Aloha seats on 08/30. Lucy would like to go. I am fine either way as I can eat with Angie if all else fails. She can then show me the way to the beach. Not that I cannot find it, after a few tries. Another reason I do not drink.

I am counting on being able to have folks call me and me call them to meet up last minute here and there. Now I have to learn how to use the darned phone. I have had it three years but it is only for emergencies and I have probably only used it a half dozen times. I am an electronics nut too. When you cannot hear a phone just not mean as much. I have to put it on loudspeaker so please be careful what you say to me as everyone will be able to hear. :rotfl:

I got the dvd's made yesterday. Thank heavens I remembered I had two computers or I would have been up all night finishing them. Not as good as I would have liked, you all deserve more but I did the best I could. Hope you like them. I made a slideshow of pictures of all of us last year and was going through pointing out who would be there this year so you were all on my mind yesterday. I even remembered the tall Canadian. :lmao:

We're going to get APs our first day in WDW this year. If we go in August, they'll still be available and we'll save money on next year's trip.

Does anyone know what type of dining plan they'll be offering? Is it just counter service & snacks?

It looks like it will be the new counter service one. You get 2 CS, 2 Snacks and a refillable mug. It would be 10.00 per day per person to upgrade to the Table Service plan. I'm thinking I might take the free one, use all those snack credits at Food & Wine and maybe just pay out of pocket for a TS or two.
Just an idea though, when you go to book Bounce back, book it for the last day it's available then you're guaranteed those dates but you could change them if you wanted to. If you don't Bounce back (I didn't) you'll be on pins and needles waiting to see if you get in or not as that is a popular day for check in.

Maybe you need to type slower so I can understand what you're saying. I'm confused and feeling pretty blonde right now! :) I was going to book for 5-7 nights, beginning August 23rd. Why would I book for the dates late in September when I'm pretty certain that I can't go then?

I didn't bounce back last year because I was very sure that DH wouldn't let Evie out of school again this year. Well, I was wrong and you're right. We were on pins & needles waiting to book this year. I was on vacation in the mountains when Free Dining opened fo this year. I gave my BFF my log in information and she booked it that first morning for me!

Your going for 20 days next year. It was so relaxing to go for 18 this year.

It looks like lots of us are looking at going the first week of October. That's awsome. I am going to book but not positive we will be able to go. I just don't want to turn it down to find out they don't offer that week to the general public next year.
