Our 10th Anniversary

This day, 10 years ago, DH & I were married at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Georgia. It was a beautiful, warm & sunny day. So many of my friends from over the years made it to the service & reception. Both the wedding & reception were simple: not a full mass and desserts/light hors d'orves. Well that's not counting the full, open bar but that's for another post. I'm glad I married him. We have a good life together. I married my compliment. Even when he's driving me crazy, he's my match. Besides, he puts up with my crap too!

It was a lovely church, clear glass & light wood. I really enjoyed attending there. The church's Patron Saint has an interesting history and is credited by some as healing rift in the Catholic Church bringing the Pope back to Rome from Avignon, France.

We're going to celebrate tomorrow night with a nice dinner at Kincaid's http://www.kincaids.com/ and we have tickets to see Lewis Black at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk, Va.

Oh timmy I am sorry! Maybe that is why they are charging you so much. have the started the dress yet because if they haven't go get it and take it to the other place. I still have the sizes you gave me from them and it was ordered right from those sizes. Maybe they can give you a break on alterations

Nancy, my problem with the braces might have been that I had to wear clodhoppers for shoes and I love being barefoot. Pooch has no such problems. Glad to hear that all is well.

Timmie, that is one thing that true DISers have in common, love of the details and being able to see new things in the same attractions etc each time we go.

Janjandis, you could always cancel your trip. No one, not even Nancy, would want you to do that though. To make up for it all you can plan a trip for next year when you can join us all once again and all will be forgiven.

UMMM....I dont know a lot but let's see if I can make something up.
There is a host (you) who collects all the money and is the person whose name the PP account is under on the website.
Most are done for a set time frame (usually the same week since there is only 30 days to claim the photos online) I wouldnt go more then 10 days difference from the first photo taken till the last. Gives ppl more time to edit their photos before the online (claimed) photos expire in 30 more days. So essentially you have 60 days before they get deleted completely. Plus you dont want a huge gap between participants because it looks odd to the system and the first ppl are not going to want to wait over a month to recieve their CD. All the pics on one CD have to be ordered at the same time. You cant get a CD with 100 pics then another one later with the added pics. ONE SHOT DEAL! OH and some ppl may have dial up which takes forever to edit the pics on, which means the others will have wait even longer to get their pics.
Then there is the thing with ppl who change their mind or have to cancel the trip, etc. Makes the cost go up for others.

Beyond that...I haven't the foggiest. LIke I said before tooooooo many variables. Not trying to discourage you....go for it, but it seems like a lot work and hassle especially if there are other things you have going on that may take up your time.

Just to note...it usually takes me about 2 days straight (lots of hours) to edit mine online. That is taking 100 photos and turning them into 400 by adding borders and such. Lots of work and not doable with distractions(kids, pets, phone, doorbell, etc)

LOVe the picture Timmy!! Thanks, how did you know about long weekend? Luckily I am still on vacation so it doesn't really affect me except I get an extra day off later. I had 5 weeks in a row off -and not one of them spent at Disney.

YAY! Shirts are all done. Well I am waiting for the stick it again stuff to dry on mine..takes like a day or so to completely dry.
They came out adorable and VERY BRIGHT Wont miss us at all. The SO's is just huge, the brat's is all sparkly with glitter, and mine has a sequin trim (lime green irridesent). Hey I had some left over from a Tink dress I made the brat and figured might as well use it

NOW to work on some new EPCOT shirts and something for our dinner at Hoop DE DOO.

Well after searching all week on my lunch break for an orange shirt I finally found one. I cant believe that they already have winter jackets out. Now I just have to run to the craft store.


Let me see if I have this whole ticket thing down straight. Last year we had annual passes so in order to get the free dining we had to get a 1 day base ticket. We never used it(I think it is still valid). So when I get to disney and I want to upgrade to a 4 day park hopper I just pay for the 4 day minus the cost of the 1 day base ticket that I have?? Now if I do this do I do it before I enter the park or after or does it not matter.

OH...forgot to tell you all....Walmart had some cute orange colored T's on sale for 4 bucks (prices may vary depending on state of origin)

Get the iron on stuff at Walmart...cheapest I found.

What she said. We actually got 22$ back on the cost. Just use the ticket at the turnstyles and any time that day go to guest services to upgrade.
