I was thinking something tropical or maybe my Animal Kingdom shirt with the leopard print Mickey head on the front. I am not known for being subdued.

Pantyhose Do they even sell those anymore? It has been many, many years since I wore a pair of pantyhose and it brings back the nightmares of snags, runs, rips, and the feeling of strangulation. I vote for spanx and for a less expensive version target has assets by the same company just a lesser quality and price.

Target makes a brand called Assets and you're right, I love them too. I often wear the kind meant to be worn under capri pants so that I can have the support of hose, but still wear summery-sandals.

Don't worry, I think you're funny & didn't take this ugly AT ALL.

You ladies are killing me! First off, this wedding is in September in Ohio. It won't be as hot as it is right now. However, if this wedding were today, inside, I would insist that each and every one of you wear a pair of panty hose. They tend to make women behave themselves.

MV-- subtle on the AK shirt. NOT. That being said, I own Crocs Mary Jane & Cleo style. No sweaty feet, comfy but still not wedding footwear... even at the ZOO.

Timmy -- you will NOT wear Crocs in her wedding, even if this Southern lady has to come to the zoo and pry them off your feet.

If Pooh wears her flip flops under her dress that is a smart woman. Nobody will see her feet and she will be in comfort. I wanted to do just that but my DH insisted I wear heels. That was the last time I wore heals too. I did put on white isotoner slippers at the reception though and nobody was the wiser. DH didn't even notice when he went after my garter.

You better film the croc fight and then put it up on utube.

Oh yeah about not shaving your legs; you could keep DD busy for quite some time by having her braid your leg hair for you.

Yes I have a few people interested in it but Not sure exactly how to do it (I was going to ask the expert MV) about how it works so she could explain to me how to set it up for everyone!

Our 10th Anniversary

This day, 10 years ago, DH & I were married at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Georgia. It was a beautiful, warm & sunny day. So many of my friends from over the years made it to the service & reception. Both the wedding & reception were simple: not a full mass and desserts/light hors d'orves. Well that's not counting the full, open bar but that's for another post. I'm glad I married him. We have a good life together. I married my compliment. Even when he's driving me crazy, he's my match. Besides, he puts up with my crap too!

It was a lovely church, clear glass & light wood. I really enjoyed attending there. The church's Patron Saint has an interesting history and is credited by some as healing rift in the Catholic Church bringing the Pope back to Rome from Avignon, France.

Mom2, the economy IS bad. Just wait until folks start to run out of their credit card limit and you will see just how bad. I am a cash gal and I feel the pinch.

Ang, my legs do not grow hair either. Might be because they have not seen the light of day in decades. Except for one day last year when I wore shorts to one of the parks. I felt naked all day long. Wonder if Assets work on on MY Assets?

MV, if you are comparing your demure self with this group I think Atilla the Hun would come off as a wallflower round these parts. Is why I feel so comfortable here.

Nah she only has to wear when she is running or out playing it helps her back hock where she broke it last year. we had her out running at the vet last night and she did wonderful!! she had this huge grin on her face it was priceless
