Oh my gosh, Circuitcity has a lime green DIS colored mini-fridge!! Just when I thought I had seen it all. But it's $30 more for the green than it is for the white . Discrimination if you ask me!

i use paypal all the time i think to pay someone all you need is the email, whoever is collecting i believe has to sign up so we the payees can send $$$ and they can collect.

this is what their site says:

What you can do with your PayPal Account.
Send money to anyone with an email address. Login and click the Send Money tab.
How to send money
1. Sign up for a PayPal account, if you don't have one.
2. If you want to send money from your bank account, get Verified.
3. Log in to your PayPal account.
4. Click the Send Money tab.

I hope to have a final head count in the next few days. Thanks for the Paypal refresher course Mrsiv07!!! Do you happen to know what the Paypal fee is per transaction for approx. a $5 transaction? If it's not too high, I can eat the fees...just don't want to get stuck paying $15 or $20 in fees! Maybe we can have one person pay 1st to see what the % is and then we can add a little extra to each person to cover the fees??

I am getting excited about our trip...only 102 days to go but who is counting?

Not including any Paypal fees we are at $5.65 per person at this point. With Paypal fees, I would say $6. I am still holding out to hear from the last 4 participants...but my goal is to set up payment info tomorrow (May 18) and get the fridge ordered by Monday! I will need everyone's email addresses to invoice thru Payapal. In case anyone wants to pay sooner thru Paypal my email is eeyoregon@aol.com

Thanks Amber! No laughing but I'm not sure how Canadian checks work?? Can they be cashed at US banks? I have an account at Bank of America.

The DIS mods are asking that we not bump the swap threads anymore.
