General Info:
1.)Home resort is the MOVIES. All picking up and returning of fridge is to be conducted at the MOVIES only unless specific arrangements have been made with me.

2.)If not swapping person-to-person, please pick-up and return fridge to the bell/luggage storage desk located outside the main lobby at the MOVIES (NOT THE FRONT DESK!) and notify castmember that something was left for you by another guest or that you are leaving something for another guest.

3.) ALWAYS Securely tape the next swappers info to the top of the fridge even if you are swapping in person.

4.) Never leave fridge in room at end of stay...return it to bell/luggage desk if not swapping in person. DO NOT have the bell desk pick it up from your room unless you will be escorting the castmember and fridge back to the bell desk and GET A CLAIM TICKET!!

5.) BE PERSISTENT IF CASTMEMBER CAN NOT FIND FRIDGE WHEN CHECKING IN!! DESCRIBE IT AND GIVE DETAILS OF WHEN IT WAS LEFT AND BY WHOM. IF THERE IS A LANGUAGE BARRIER GET A MANAGER INVOLVED. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE SWAPPING TO/FROM, PLEASE ASK ME.

Please remember that this swap keeps going based on responsible swappers. By participating in this swap you are trusting strangers and there is a chance that it will not work out. I can not and will not be responsible for any negative outcome. Please follow thru at the end of your trip = return it to the proper place.

Please keep the fridge clean and let me know if we need index cards, tape or markers to leave in the fridge. Also NEVER tip a fridge over or turn it upside down as it will ruin it.

Effective June 1, 2008: YOU MUST contact me via PM or email to confirm that you are still participating in the swap NO LATER than 2 weeks before your 1st date of use. If your trip is 2 weeks away and I have NOT heard from you, I will remove you from the swap.

Please try to transport the fridge yourself (you can borrow a luggage cart). If you require assistance transporting the fridge PLEASE remember to tip the castmember and to escort them from your room to the bell desk and get a claim ticket! Disney is doing us a favor by storing an item that in turn takes away profits from them so the least we can do is lend a hand.

I have a local friend that can probably purchase and deliver the fridge for us which will eliminate the shipping/ordering hassle.

I just have to ask: does Disney get annoyed by this swapping stuff??

When I was in the Pop one they didn't seem to have any issues. When I checked in they told me I had something waiting and brought it up to our room on a trolley after we checked in. There was no problem dropping it off either.

Does anyone know the logistics of how this works? Am I correct that we need to have consecutive folks "reserved" for the fridge as the bell desk will only hold it for 2 days before it needs to be delivered to someone else??

We could certainly start it as early as June if we were able to fill up the weeks.

I am researching prices so if anyone has any ideas, let me know. So far Sears is coming in the lowest at $84.19 including shipping or $71.24 if I can convince my friend to pick it up and deliver it. At this point it would cost the 8 of us under $11 each (one day's worth of rental thru Disney!).
