Modifying Online Check In (First Timer Question)

Cruising for the first time in October. I'm in the process of doing Online Check In and I have 1 quick questions - when it asks how we're leaving the port, I do intend to use Disney Transfers but the option is not able to be selected...I'm guessing since I booked through a TA?

Can I just choose private transfer and complete Online Check In and then have my TA modify that? I know things like transportation can be changed with WDW, but since I'm new to cruising I want to make sure before going forward. Thanks!

Have you already purchased the DCL transfers? If not, that might be the reason it's not an option.

You can do your own online check in. It's not necessary for a TA to handle any part of it. Except for the adding of the DCL transfers, if you need to. A TA is just used for any monetary situations.

Gotcha, that explains it. We did not purchase them yet. Should I have her purchase those before completing online check in?

In reality, you don't need to actually complete that part (the after cruise info) before boarding. You don't even need to purchase the transfers until you are onboard, if you wish.

No. Just complete the on-line check in and just select private transfers when you get to that part. Once you've booked the transfers, go in and change it. You can make changes to the on-line check in any time until 3 days prior to the cruise.

For me, even after I reserved the private transfers through the travel agent, the online check-in still wouldn't allow the option to be selected. I checked with my travel agent, who confirmed they were in place. When I got my cruise booklet in the mail, it included the transfers as expected. So, in my case, there's a bug in the online check-in, so I ignored it.
