Mobile ordering

My adult son is joining us on our trip. Can I put my credit card as payment on his MDE to use for mobile ordering? Thanks!

Mobile order goes direct to the credit card, doesn't it? I didn't think any part of it requires being an on-site guest or having charging privileges on a room reservation. Every time I've done mobile order, I get the text alert from American Express right away, it's not routed through my room folio.

@TTechmom I've found that the easiest way to add a card is to just create a dummy order. Follow these steps (you can do it from home).

From your son's phone:
Disney World app
+ button
Order Food
Aloha Isle - select whatever time window is displaying
Tropical Serenade +Add
Click on shopping bag
Review Order Summary
Under "Credit or Debit Card" -> Add Card Manually
Enter Credit Card info
Select "Save this card to my profile"
Select Continue
Back out before completing the purchase
