The only complaint I have with the major phone companies that offer these devices is that, even though they do advertise as no contract, no monthly fees, no reconnection fees, etc., your data available expires every 30 days.
So for the casual user, as dh will be, we would be stuck paying $25-$30 every month whether we used the internet for 1 minute that month or 3 hours.
That's why I love that I found the device that I got. If dh uses 1 minute of internet time this month (from a $25 card), we'll still have 1.5 gb of data available to us the following month without having to fork over another $25.
You really are essentially in a $25/month (or more) contract if you go with these other devices, if you use any data at all each month, no matter how little you used.
