MNSSHP Trick or Treat bag

Not big enough for us.
They are smaller than a brown lunch bag........about 3" shorter.
We always use them and then have a bigger one to dump them in when they start to get full.

since our kids were out of strollers (ergo no handles or trays to hold the bags, oh how I miss how handy they were for stuffing assorted stuff) the first year we took one large backpack that got heavy quickly along with the camera gear.

The next year we reverted to the string sort of back sacks and everybody was responsible for hauling their own during the party. Cut down on the trick or treating vs doing characters and enjoying the shows, along with the number of costume accessories the kids drug along for the ride.;)

Measuring 2012's bag, it's 7x9x3. Hope it helps. There are pictures online of this year's bag. Maybe with comparison, you can tell the size of this year's.

The party ToT bag is 9" tall x 7" across the front x 3" front to back.

Just measured and that is exactly correct, with two handles. We usually take one of the big Halloween shopping bags they sell we keep from year to year, put our ponchos in the bottom and then we can put our treat bags in as well. IF we fill our bags and decide to get more, the full bags are in our shopping bag. One year we used the drawstring backpacks to dump candy in, not so much we were trying to get lots more but to keep the little bag lighter weight.

One warning no one seems to mention especially since international flights seem to be at stake. Disney will give you all the candy you want, BUT you have to get it home. One year we had 14 lbs of candy (in 4 of the free bags disney gave us so they are plenty big). 14 lbs put us over the luggage weight limit so I had to do a mad shuffle to get the weights balanced. It was highly comical, but the stress was not worth the value of the candy. Lesson learned. Unless you can eat a lot of candy before you get back on the plane, don't be concerned about collecting as much as you can. :rotfl2:

We had the same issue one year LOL. I was off to the side of bag check with our bags unzipped trying to shuffle stuff around. I ended up moving a bunch of the candy to our carry ons. Four people + two parties = many pounds of candy. :rotfl:

I like the size bag they give out at the party, and they're very sturdy. When we get close to filling the bags I just dump them out into my backpack and we start over. That has always worked well for us. We don't get five bags of candy each or anything, probably more like 1 1/2 or 2 bags each. I would prefer to carry the extra in my backpack than walk around toting a 10lb trick or treat bag lol.

DD and I only went to one party last year. Still, between the party candy and trick or treating at home, I was throwing out Halloween candy in January.

(I added the extra candy out of my backpack before taking the second picture, so that is more than two bags of candy, more like 3 1/2 bags.)
