MNSSHP-Tips, Tricks, Secrets newbies should know (from the 2009 party!)

We will be there for the 10/8 party. I will be Forrest Gump, DW will be a pirate & DD will be Dopey ... a motley group, I know

Look up for a Samurai Momma in a very bright red kimono (that´s me), DD5 will be Tinkerbell (if she did not change her mind for the 1.0000.000.000th time) and DD3 a pirate. DH is too shy to wear a costume (black pants and a black shirt with a red skull). My syster MAYBE will be sorcerer apprentice and brother in law Zorro (but they also are too shy to dress up...). If you see us come say hello, please...

1) Is easy to get a stroller during the party and are they for free @ MNSSHP (even the doubles?)???

The strollers are easy to get on your way in but NO they are no longer free at the parties.

Which night is that? LOL We're doing MNSSHP 10/1...the whole week so far isn't looking good. I'm hoping it's the normal afternoon Sept showers that are showing up everyday...and all except that hour or so will be clear & perfect (if hot LOL).

Hi! I went to the party on 9/18 and Snow White and the 7 dwards were out. The line was super long! I would get there early!

We were at the party on Sept 18. Snow White and all 7 Dwarfs posed together for pictures. We waited about 40 min. Would have been less but they were letting people take more than 1 picture.

It was our first party. I really, really enjoyed it. I would definitely go again sometime.

One kid in our party can´t eat ANY sugar and she is sooo nice to understand and accept this and even being ok to attend. She even have her costume and will T& T and give all candies to her siblings. such a special little girl!!

I REALLY would like her to have SOMETHING in T&T she could be surprised.

If I bring some no sugar treats, do you think CM will be ok to give it to her without her knowing it came from me?

We got small Mickey rulers in Toon Town. There are also raisins all over the place. Honestly, I don't know how you could give it to the CM to give her without her noticing. You would be better off just sneaking it into her bag yourself when she's not looking.

No free 5 x 7, you get a 40% off your pictures, and if you use your code right, you can get 40% off off ALL your pictures from your whole trip. You can only use this code once though.

Also, if you are doing the hitch hiking ghosts try to wait until it gets dark-we did it early to avoid the line but the picture is only so-so because it was still so bright outside-

The discount is only on buying prints, not CD.

I would guess that for liability purposes, CMs can give only the candy they are supposed to give -- even a non-candy item has liability attached to it. It is a shame that the world has come to this, but things being what they are, that's my bet. Hope I'm wrong.

No, you won't, just Disney o/o, and even then only if you book a package. Yes, you can buy any thing you want off your PhotoPass card(s).

You may try contacting the special diet area of WDW. (sorry, since I'm new to posting I can't post the link) We have a child with a peanut allergy and were instructed in how to find a bag of treats that she could have. It won't come directly from the CM's in line, but our child will (hopefully) get a bag of stuff she can eat and feel like she's part of the party. I'm still amazed (and thrilled) that Disney does this. Frankly, it's this sort of thing that keeps us coming back again and again...
