can you purchase tickets for mnsshp in advance from the uk?

Yes. Keep an eye on this board and someone will post that the tickets have gone on sale. Then you just phone WDW and book for the date you want and then the tickets are shipped directly to you. I think the shipping was an extra $10 but can't remember. You will usually get your tickets a few days later.

It's great fun, enjoy it.

I forgot to add, I think the dates come out around April early May time.

We have been 3 times and ordered online direct with Disney, no need to ring. We got a discount buying online, not sure if you get it if you ring. Also we see no reason to pay $10 delivey. You just choose "Will call" when you order. It sends you an email within seconds with a Ref number. just pick up tickets at any guest relations in Disney, we always get ours at Downtown Disney as we are there often.
We are trying Pirates and Princess evening this year, hope its as good as MNSSHP.

pirates and princess party starts the day after we get home i would of loved to have gone to this!

For the P&P tickets Disney was doing this new thing where you can print out your tickets from your computer, they have a scannable barcode on them. I would bet that you'll be able to do the same for MNSSHP. Saves shipping charge and also saves time waiting in the will call line. You go right to the gate with the printout.
