MNSSHP Tickets - when?

I have a ticket question.... When you order your MNSSHP tickets wether it's online or phone, do they send them to you in the mail or do you receive them when you check in at your Hotel???? This will be my first time going. We're planning on the 23rd and so far with all the different dates that one is still there....

They will send them to you in the mail OR I believe you can also as for WILL CALL and pick them up down there.

OK no parties between Oct 23 and 30? That stinks and makes it virtually impossible for me to attend one.

That can't be right. That would mean that Disney is going to give up a big money maker on the 29th. It is the last Sat before Halloween. Seems to me that this would be a busy night for them. I was hoping for the 25th. I guess I will find out when I call but I would bet there are a few more dates not listed.

I don't think they are right either. I'll bet they'll be a party on the 25th, 27th and 28th, with the 28th selling out like the last Friday before Halloween always does!!

There is never a party on Saturdays...so there won't be one on the 29th.

I was hoping for Thurs. Oct 27 as that's the day that works. I thought for sure that would be a date based on historical dates. I guess we'll find out Sunday.

I was thinking of just getting dinner at Cosmic Ray's since we'll have to be in Tomorrowland for a while anyway. Will it be really crowded in there since everyone will be in that area? Should I just go ahead and plan on making a PS somewhere? :confused3

It is pretty crowded there, IMHO.

Sometimes it's nice to eat while the park is closed and then head right over to Adventureland or Frontierland after dinner if it's close to 7:00p because that area will be dead in the beginning and you can get your photo over with too!

Thank you, not sure why I never thought of how crowded it might be, lol. Duh. I'll just go ahead and make a PS! (That didn't take much convincing, did it? It doesn't take much to get me to agree to a meal, lol.) :teeth:

I made the CM verify the dates twice. She did say that maybe all of the dates weren't in the computer yet. I was hoping to go on the 18th. If these new dates are correct I'll have to go on the 16th or the 20th. I just wish Disney would get their act together and release the information officially.

Ah that's right!! But your right about Friday for sure! I bet all the dates weren't in there yet. If they are right then the only date we can go is the day we get there. We'll do it but we won't be happy! (visualize arms crossed with a pouty face.)

I just called Disney again and a CM verified the same dates as I was previously provided adding that they are still tentative. She told me that the prices would be $34.95 + tax for adults and $27.95 + tax for children...add $5.00 to the ticket price for 31 October!

I just heard about the $5. more for Halloween night! I cannot believe they are doing that! That's new and I think it stinks!

When I call I'm going to ask about the AP discount and how that will work...

A number of these posts have mentioned booking LTT last year at the time the MNSSHP tickets were purchased. So, you were able to do that even if you were outside the usual 90-day window for priority seatings? When you made the LTT booking, did the CM that took your ticket order handle it at that time, or did you have to make a call to Disney Dining?

Question:

When does the parade usually begin? I want to make sure I make the PS @ LTT in time to see the Headless Horseman. When would be a good time for that?

Also, how late does MNSSHP last?

Thanks! Another faithful eagerly awaiting Sunday... :goodvibes

Yes, for the past few years they've let you book only LTT, not the other sit down restaurants right when you buy your tickets. You do not have to call back and talk to dining. The other restaurants can be booked at 90 days.

Hopefully, they'll be doing the same this year with LTT.

The first pararde usually begins around 8:30p from the entrance toward Liberty Sqaure. The headless horseman comes first at 8:30p. (and before the second parade at approx 10:30p)

I'd make any PS while the park is close between 6:00p and 7:00p, any time between 4:00p and 6:00p. They will let party goers in AFTER 4:00p for the party even though it closes from 6:00p to 7:00p.

Kathy, thanks for the dates...I had planned on Oct 4th so now I have to redo my plans as well. I have my fingers crossed for Sunday! :sunny:

Me, too 10/4 was our first pick. We arrive 10-1, so 10-2 is a little early in our week. I guess I'll have to pick between Thursday and Friday. Aren't all the parks open a bit later on Fridays? Perhaps we'll go 10-6 and enjoy a later evening in a different park 10-7. Decisions, decision!

:flower:

Ok so far we have learned that a lot and I mean a lot of CM's know that they are going on sale, but not until sometime in May. :confused3

1 CM knows that it's going on sale May 1st. :confused3

Some CM's know the dates, but for some reason they are slightly different than the ones that have been posted due to it might be a possibility that not all the dates are in there.

So far 10-28, 10-30 are not in there, but more than likely be added :cool1:

Piglet and Pooh will not be dressing up :rotfl2:

If your a picky eater eat at CP, but for all others eat at LTT. Hmmmmmmm LTT rocks.... :goodvibes

And we have learned that starting this year it will cost you an extra 5.00 for you to attend the Halloween party on Halloween... :earboy2: and with Halloween being on a Monday, that seems kind of funny..lol

Also we have learned that Halloween will sell out the quickest, followed by the Friday and Sunday before due to it's the weekend. Now to me this does not seem right. Just because it's the weekend. Hmmm.

Now all I am saying is that my bday is on 10-28-05 which is a Friday this year. I will be there then. I have also come to a conclusion. It's my bday and I should have first crack at what day I want to go and should not have to wait in any lines. Because garsh darnet....That is the American Way. No on your bday you should not have to wait. I think for all those going to WDW on your actual bday should get a head of all the lines regardless if you have FP's or not. Stand with me all you birthday celebrating DIS people who are actually going to be there on your bday  :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

Don't hold back... Let everyone know it's your bday and maybe just maybe after all your excitement and hard work that maybe just maybe you will get a nice person in front of you standing in line saying Happy Bday :earboy2:

Well we can all dream can't we.....

My B-day is October 30. I really wanted to go on my b-day, but I know if I do I will hate the crowds and not have a good b-day. I am trying to see if DH and I can do a dinner out and leave the kids at either Sandcastle Club and eat at Epcot somewhere OR leave them at Neverland Club and eat somewhere on the monorail. I'd love to try V&A's but haven't quite convinced myself to spend the $$$$$. Might settle for Citrico's or Narcoosee's. Or maybe even try Jiko and take them to Simba's Den.

I'm really hoping for Oct 27 to be there.
