MNSSHP Tickets - when?

Why is LTT so hot? I would much rather eat at the Crystal Palace. Is it because LTT is the only full service open on party nights? We have never attended, but would love to be there for the party on the 31st. I don't care HOW crowded it is. I am from the old school (maybe because I am old) and strongly believe you should celebrate a holiday on the holiday itself. That's just me. The rest of you enjoy your lighter crowds, but I will be there on the 31st! But truly, what's up with LTT?

The LTT is just a great character meal. All the characters are dressed up and the characters come around so often. Good food and good times. You are right there by Splash, BTMRR, the shooting galary, and can see the Haunted Mansion. We are thinking about doing this as well. Now may I ask and I am only asking this because we have not been to the Crystal Palace...why go with CP?

First, I agree and I've done Halloween night twice already! I can't imagine it any other way!

Second, I think it's that it's festive for Halloween. The CM look and dress like Haunted Mansion type people and the characters wear Halloween eye masks and aprons.

LTT is also the only place open AFTER 6:00p party nights. The rest of the sit downs stop taking PS at 6:00p.

I have enjoyed both LTT and Crystal Palace party nights.

We like the CP better because my neices who will be with us this trip are SUPER picky eaters and the selection is better. As long as I can still get a PS there at 5:00 I will be happy. I like the idea of the characters being dressed up for Halloween though. Does anybody know if Pooh and Piglet dress up for Halloween at CP?

No, they do not dress up special for MNSSHP.

I agree that CP is much better for a picky eater. My two DDs do not like the food at LTT but I do!

I called twice today and the first CM had no idea of when the dates or tickets would be released and the second CM said "no we don't have the dates or when they'll go on sale but my computer says sometime in May" so I guess we'll see Sunday!

BECAUSE they know about us! They know they will get tons of calls from the Disers as soon as the ressie lines open! They were hoping to hold us off for a little while!! MMMMUUUUUHHHHHAAAAAAAA!! We foiled their foolish plan!!

I just spoke with a CM at Disney and she checked her computer and the dates for MNSSHP and MVMCP are in the computer but there is still no 'on sale' date available. However, I asked her to verify the dates for each party. The dates for MVMCP are the same that have been posted on these boards but the dates for MNSSHP are slightly different. There are only 12 dates available instead of the 15 dates posted on these boards. The CM did say that the dates she gave me were tentative and subject to change but here is what I was just told:

30 September
2,6,7,11,13,16,20,21,23,30,31 October

I have to rethink my trip as I was planning to attend on 18 October

6 and 20 October were not previously listed as dates for the party and 4,18, 25,27 and 28 October are not listed as dates as was previously reported. I hope they add all of these dates.

That does seem really odd. Usually there's more toward the end of the month, that last week before Halloween. I'm really surprised.

I have a LTT question........If I book my LTT ps at 5:00 on my mnsshp night will the servers and characters already be dressed up for the hp or do they do this after the park closes? What would be the ideal time for my ps........i want to be done eating when the party starts.

Anything between 4:00p and 6:00p should be enough time to be done before the party. LTT is only a dinner character meal so when they come out at 4:00p they'll have their masks and special aprons on!

They will let party goers in AFTER 4:00p with just your party ticket.

I usually book something between 5:00p and 5:30p so I don't have to be 'herded' to Tomorrowland (where they make party goers go while they clear out the park between 6:00p and 7:00p)

I have a ticket question.... When you order your MNSSHP tickets wether it's online or phone, do they send them to you in the mail or do you receive them when you check in at your Hotel???? This will be my first time going. We're planning on the 23rd and so far with all the different dates that one is still there....
