MNSSHP Tickets - when?

we will be there the 27th-2nd Oct, is the first night (30th)very busy and does it sell out quicker because it is the first night? or because it's still Sept are people not in the Holloween mood??? We have never done this are on the fence because DS is 4 and DD is 2. An afterthought, should we leave DD with grandparents and just take our son?? thanks :)

See I think it is a massive plan to cofuse everone so that people will go on what is supposed to be less crowded days and in reality...they will be the crowded days....

Take for example MMVMCP in Dec...We went on a Tuesday and the Thursday of the same week of the 4 - 10. Now both nights had people. But we got to do everything there was to do. But there is nothing like riding splash mt at 12 midnight....

You know, it didn't occur to me that I will not only have to plan what night to go to MNSSHP, but I will also have to plan around whatever nights we DON'T go because the other parks might be rather packed! GRR again!! :badpc:

See it's a conspiracy against us all...lol...we are in the same boat...

this will be our families first visit for this event. what time does it usually open and close?

I may be incorrect, but I believe it goes like this:

The actual event goes from 7 PM until midnight. At 6 PM if you are in the park already you will be escorted over to Tommorwland (I think) to wait while CM's clear the park of visitors NOT attending MNSSHP.

If you are not already in the park you may enter starting at 4 PM with just your MNSSHP ticket (not your park pass).

You may make a PS for dinner at LTT when you buy your party tickets (maybe - they did that last year). Be sure to tell them you have party tickets when you make your PS.

Mousesavers is showing the 18th as a MNSSHP date. AllEars and Intercot are not. I guess my chances for the 18th are 50/50!

So we will be there Oct. 16-23. Is there any real rush for us to get them or no?

I will get mine as soon as they go on sale, but that's because I am a compulsive planner. I want everything done the exact minute it is available to be done.

I was poking around different sites this afternoon and it looks like only 3 or so nights sold out last year. One was Halloween night. I was reading reviews and the general consensus seems to be to go during the week if you possibly can. Friday nights are apparently very crowded. From the reports I read the crowd level really does have an impact on how much people enjoy the event.

Halloween night sells out first, usually in August or September. Unless you want to be first in line for Liberty Tree Tavern PS's, there's no rush.

Keep in mind they are non-refundable.

I hope that the 4th is a party night! I have been planning around this and I guess we can go on the 2nd, but I was looking forward to going on a less crowded night.

You and me both. I am hoping for the 4th too. If not then I will most likely go with the 6th.

What's annoying is that we don't even know a release date for these tickets yet. Last year we had a couple days notice before the actual sale date. None of the CMs have info and to be honest, I don't think anyone I have talked to has even bothered to check their computer to see if there's anything there, whether it's pending or not.

Annoying as heck. Night of Joy in September has been on sale for at least a month. The first MNSSHP is at the end of September. Why can't they get their act together and make these tickets available!

They can't stop me from calling them Sunday morning no matter how hard they try!! :goodvibes

SamanthaL - I hear you. It's just annoying as all get out that no info is out there yet.

I have a feeling that the 31st will sell out VERY QUICKLY this year. Remember the outrageous prices that these tickets were getting on e-bay last year. MANY people will be speculating that they can make a quick buck (or several hundred quick bucks), knowing with almost certainty that they will at least break even. This may not be the case, but if you are planning on the 31st, I would be on the phone ASAP, when they are released.

Everyone should call Sunday!! It would serve them right for making us wait!! They deserve it!!! ;)

:Pinkbounc We could actually call Saturday 4/30. May 1, 2004 was on a Saturday. :Pinkbounc

I get the feeling that chaos is about to break out...

I think you are right and as usually I am at the heart of it!!! :wave2:
