Anyone know when the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party tickets typically go on sale? We've got a trip booked then and want to snag tickets before they sell out so I want to have on my radar/calendar when to watch for ticket sales so I don't forget. (There is usually a small DVC discount too, isn't there?)

Yes certain nights are discounted for DVC. I want to say it is released during the summer. You won't have trouble getting them. Only the nights of Halloween sell out in advance. Dates closer to Halloween sell out but only much closer to the event time.

I think tickets typically go on sale in May, but last year they went on sale in April.

Not sure if they will do it again but last year you could also get discount tickets if you had a disney visa card. If the DVC discount is only for certain nights and those don't work for you then that may be something else to look into.

Halloween night sells out quickly. It's not like DL where all the dates sell out.

last year first sale date was april 8th. you can assume 5 - 6 months ahead of first date to help plan ADRs.

Halloween night will sell out first, then the nights closest to Halloween will be next.

Weekend dates often sell out in October, Halloween week they all sell out.

I heard most dates sold out in 2015, many at the last minute. I made the mistake of waiting to buy MVMCP for December 8 and it ended up sold out.
