MNSSHP Ticket question

Last Tuesday I was contacted by the IPO office at the Wilderness Lodge to indicate that they had obtained my tickets for the MNSSHP. I had provided them with my cc information and they had advised they would purchase them for me as soon as they were available. This will be the first trip for my 3yo DGS and a first for all of us at the Halloween party - so excited :cool1:

Today I received an envelope via FedEx that contained actual hard tickets for the event. I understand that it is a separate entry requirement, but I'm confused about why I actually got tickets? Isn't this all linked through the MDE and the Magic Bands? I assumed we would get wrist bands when we got to the park that night by just showing a receipt or something.

Sorry if this is a repeat question - I looked to see if I could see it anywhere else before I posted, but may have missed it

Last year friends of mine went to the MVMCP and were told they could not have the party tickets on the MagicBands - I guess they can't have more than one ticket per band. So I think it was right for you to get hard tickets for the event.

Parties are what is called a "hard ticket" event. They cannot be put on the bands, or at least they couldn't last fall. That may have changed, but I just got mine on the mail for our October party when everything else is linked on the app.

I think you still have to show the tickets at the gate or in the park on party night to get the wristband. Not sure why it is not added to the MB.
