Lol, no, that’s not happening.
But you can get a bronze level Seaworld season pass for less than an October Boo Bash ticket. As far as parties go, I saw where Seaworld is starting a Halloween horror style after-event, but neither that or Universal's HHN appeals to me. I'd rather have the Sanderson Sisters' Villain Spectacular.Seaworld admissions and annual passes has gone up a lot and far less deals. Use to be so easy to go to Seaworld and Aquatica cheap. Seaworld doesn't really have parties you pay extra for.
Yes MNSSHP was amazing, but crowds were getting very large. We were at an After Hours event and it was amazing. Park almost empty, cast members basically throwing water, soda and chips at you when you walk by. We had out picture taken on Main Street and there is pretty much no one else in the picture. MNSSHP parade has a very catch song, Boo to you and you.But you can get a bronze level Seaworld season pass for less than an October Boo Bash ticket. We will do Boo Bash, but it will be the only Disney park ticket we buy this year (our April trip was from 2020 tickets). It's all about tradeoffs to us. Going forward, I could see party day being our only Magic Kingdom day, while we spend more time at Seaworld or Universal (more affordable options).
I do hope to see MNSSHP return in its full form eventually. We went once and it was amazing. We have never experienced the Christmas party, so we will hold off on that one if it is anything else than the full party. We are only going to Boo Bash because we have already done MNSSHP and it is the night before my daughter's 3rd birthday.
We are just hoping to get a bunch of rides in with 15 minutes or less waits. Even if the kids are only awake for the 7-10 pm portion of the party like they were last time. Having no FastPass has been a disaster, since we have a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old. We had to skip so many rides last time we were there. We used to book FastPass for "small world" just to guarantee a short wait. Can I ask a question I promise I’m not being facetious what are those of you who plan to attend the party looking forward to it seems that everything that was to look forward to in the standard Halloween party has been cut characters shows fireworks I’m just not understanding what you’re getting your money for??
As a fan base we were pretty upset with the tents by space Mountain I don’t see much more value in this party

What makes you think that crowds are going to be ‘after hours’ level, Disney is going to sell as many tickets as the fire Marshall is going to allow.
I hope you’re right!!Because they've called it an after hours event and that's clearly what the ticket price is showing. Gurantee there will be a huge lone at guest relations asking for their money back if tickets sold make it worse.
The after hours was most likely the choice due to the timeline for when they had to announce a halloween event or nothing at all. There's also a reason it's onlt 2 nights a week and an increase over previous after hours.
It'll just get argued that they'll still over sell it because it's disney, but that hasn't happened with after hours events before and they haven't all sold out before either. It's just not the same thing as a party.
I hope you’re right!!
I do wonder how many people will buy tickets thinking it’s a party without realizing it is not. I say that only because I have family planning a trip and they were telling me about their plans and were shocked when I told them there are no fast passes or EMH currently. I assume this is common knowledge, but if you’re currently just basing your plans off past experiences and not actively checking out to see what’s happening now...![]()

Because it is an After Hours event. There’s no question it’s going to be very limited.

No, it’s not “hope,” it’s not legally possible. Your hypothesis is that Disney will somehow change it’s structure so that DVC owners can no longer book rooms at their DVC home resorts? Yeah, no, that would be blatantly illegal and if Disney tried it (they wouldn’t) they’d lose the subsequent lawsuit quite badly.we HOPE its not happening, Every recent action by Disney has been to discourage repeat visitors and instead replace them with ‘one and done’ visitors. DVC is a program which explicitly encourages repeat visitation. As such it’s incompatible with Disney’s business model going forward.
i can think of a half dozen ways in which Disney could terminate the DVC program and have it pass the legal smell test. One would be a strategic bankruptcy and reorganization.

Hope you're right, but I'm in the camp that Disney will sell as many tickets as they can. Having cancelled last year, I think there will be a huge demand for this. Whether you want to call it a party of After Hours event, the demand will be there.Because it is an After Hours event. There’s no question it’s going to be very limited.

MNSSHP wasn't crowded the first few times we went. A few years ago was our last time as the crowds were huge.
The words "after hours" don't mean "very limited" - what is the past is the past...Disney is now in a new posture after the shutdowns and after hours can literally just mean "after hours"...
They used the word "limited" with no mention of ticket sale numbers allowed. That means NOT very limited, but limited solely by sales meeting a probably pretty high capacity figure (as I mentioned before 50% of total park capacity allowed is still "limited")...especially when the parks will be open at 100% capacity for the 50th...
PS - And there will be lower waits from 100% capacity...but those waits can still be very, very long...
Not true. They used to promote MNSSHP as short lines for all the major attractions. Sometimes that was true and sometimes it wasn't.If you compare the wording from the AH page to the MVMCP party page (MNSSHP page is now Boo Bash), only one advertises lower waits now. There’s no way this is going to be crowded based on the literal nature of the event. I get being pessimistic after all DIsney has taken or changed over the past years, but it doesn’t change what an AH is or what it entails.
