I just realized (after months and months of planning) that we will be at Disney for one day of MNSSHP. I've never been, and haven't really heard to much about this because I didn't think I would be there during.

We'll be there on Oct 3, 2003... which is the very first one. Couple of questions, if someone could help me out! :D :D :D

- Do you have to be a Disney Resort Guest to get in?

- Being the very first night of MNSSHP, will it be more crowded or less crowded in comparison to other nights?

- Are the attractions as easy to get on as, say, an E-night?

Any other useful information you could pass along would help! Thanks!

:p :jester: :p :D

Lucky you! No you don't have to be a disney resort guest to get in, there is a seperate admission required. The MNNSHP is so much fun. Not sure how busy it is in the begining of Oct., we always go on Halloween night so it is a little busy. The rides are for the most part very easy to get on. Never experienced really long lines. The way they have the MK decorated is worth the admission alone. It is done in true disney style. Depending on how many people you have it does get a little costly, but my kids and my husband and I love it. Have Fun!!

I wouldn't think the early MNSSHP would be too crowded either! This is our first time visiting around Halloween too - we'll be attending the Party on Oct 14 - CAN'T WAIT!!!! Have fun!!!

This is a must do! You must dress up too! Get free candy! It's lots of fun. We went last year on Halloween, and are going again this year!

DrKnow77,

Just to let you know, there is a DIS meet scheduled for the first MNSSHP on Friday, 10/3. Here is a link to the thread for all the info. You should definately go to MNSSHP, it's a little early in the season to be busy, and we'd love to meet you there!

I've searched all over the boards - and lurked for a month or so, but I haven't found the answer to this yet.

We (my DH and I) will be going to WDW from Oct. 19-26. I've gotten DH to agree to MNSSHP, but I don't know whether to try to go on the day we arrive (our flight arrives at 1pm at Orlando, Sunday, Oct 19), or whether to go on Friday, Oct. 24th.

Neither of us our fond of crowds. Will Sunday be less crowded? Or do you think it would make that much of a difference?

Also, will the MK be more crowded earlier in the day on Sunday? We're going to WDW with the FTP, so we can go to the park earlier if we want.

Opinions??? Please?? :D

Welcome, tigger&tigerlover!

There isn't a simple answer. Sunday night may be a little less busy than Friday. However, since MNSSHP runs from 7 until midnight, and Sunday is your arrival day, what kind of shape will you be in? For DW and I, we're not good for too much on arrival day. We'll be up early (and probably didn't get a whole lot of sleep the night before) and with the airports and the flight and the rental car and checking in - I don't know if I'd be in any shape to function at 9PM that night. Of course, your mileage may vary.

My choice would be to go Friday, so you'll be in prime shape to enjoy.
