mnsshp..question about tickets

Do you have to use one day of your magic your way ticket plus buy a ticket to the halloween party? Never been trying to decide to go or not to go. If we did go it would have to be either 30 or 31, do they list somewhere if tickets are sold out?

You can get into MK anytime after 4pm with JUST the party ticket. You would only need to use a day from your MYW ticket if you wanted to get in prior to 4pm. They will give you a wrist band when you enter (after 4) that signifies you are a party gguest. From 4-6pm you have full access to the park as it is still open to day guests. From 6-7pm they will send everyone with the wristband to one (sometimes 2) lands where they will hold you until the park is clear of day guests or 7pm whichever comes first (the rides in that area will be open while you are waiting). Then the party will officially start at 7pm.

It looks like tickets are still available for all nights. If you go to Disney.com click on Calendar and then scroll to the bottom there is a link for Sepcial events, click there and it will bring up MNSSHP. They are showing all dates. When it is sold out it will say sold out or the date will just not appear.

With the way park tickets are priced now I think it's only a couple bucks to add another day so I'd say include that day when you buy your regular park tickets just in case you'd wanna hit any of the parks earlier that day...it's not like in the past where it was around $30 more for each day you'd add to your park-hoppers. Granted, you'd still have to pay around $40 (adults) for separate tickets for the MNSSHP, but I've been reading that it's such a blast that it's worth the extra cost. DH is el-cheapo and he even agreed to spending the extra money and we're both really looking forward to it. We'll probably relax at the resort that day or do some shopping at DTD but knowing that we have the option to go to any of the parks for a buck or two that day is a good deal in my book. That way, you won't use up a later day's ticket if you'd get really bored! Just my 2 cents!
