Hey, we saw you all that night

We were the Pirates of the Caribbean-Curse of the Black Pearl family. My husband was dressed as a savvy Captain Jack Sparrow complete w/suede boots made by me. I was a Pirate Wench. Our daughter was Elizabeth Swan in a beautiful dress she wore as a flower girl this summer, and our son was a little Jack Sparrow. I made the 2 guys costumes w/exception of their leather belts, and I really thought they looked great! We got MANY compliments and many photo requests. My husband actually enjoyed the MK for once

The Band of Pirates outside the Pirates ride saluted my husband the 2 times we crossed paths w/them, and the second time actually pulled my husband in to sing their final song-Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life for Me.

We had a blast! I hope you all did too A night to remember!!!

No, my mom didn't make this one- I got it from ebay. Mom won't sew costumes for me without me physically there to measure.

How cool that you saw me, Kathy! I did see lots of great pirate costumes that day so I'm willing to bet I saw your family at one point. MK seems much smaller at MNSSHP because you'd keep running into the same people over and over. The costumes made them very recognizable.
