MNSSHP-Just how scary is it????

We did MVMCP last year nad enjoyed it so much that we are considering it again. Then my DH suggested trying MNSSHP and I have been looking at some past posts regarding what happens etc...but my little girl is scared very easy. She does not like skeletons, brains, glowing eyes, etc...We suspect she does this for attention, but it would ruin the night for our family if she was too frightened to have fun. Just how many scary elements are there? Can I pick and choose what I can see or will the headless horseman come walking by at any given moment? I really don't enjoy being frightened either so I know where she is coming from and tend to try to keep her away from these situations.We all love halloween for the dressing up and tame fun-can I get that at MNSSHP? I just know that if when I was a kid someone said to me you can trick-or-treat in the magic kingdom, I would have been freaking out. I think the kids will like it as much as MVMCP, but what do you think? MNSSHP veterans, please help me out here!!! Thanks in advance...

No, it's very tame. It's meant to be enjoyed by the whole family.

The headless horseman is only seen at the very beginning of the parade.

There are Fall/halloween decoration but they aren't scary.

People do dress up in costumes but most are Disney themes and not too scary.

There's cute Halloween music pipped in. I can't think of anything that scared my 2 dd's ages 3 and 6 at the time.

Now Universal's Horror nights are quite another story!
