MNSSHP - Hints and Tips

You should be fine then.

Will just mention though, just in case you're not aware - tickets are $6 per person cheaper if you buy them in advance rather than on the gate that night. Not sure the reason why you don't want to commit in advance but if you can then you can get those discounts even up to the day before so worth considering imo.

I would also rather buy in advance but if Ukool reaelly wants to buy when there, he/she may want to consider that purchasing the day before the party also qualifies you for the advanced purchase discount. I know it's only 2 of you, but that's 3 dole whips worth of saving ;)

We loved out MNSHP and got loads from the trick & treat stands. Although Hersheys isn't my favourite chocolate. We had been to Epcot earlier in the day but brought Halloween t-shirts with us (from Super Target) and changed into them at MK to get in the spirit - it really was good :goodvibes

This is the way I think of things too. Every $ saved translates into an extra item consumed :lmao:

:thumbsup2 Unfortunately I translate it into other bills as well .... for example, do you know how many cinnamon rolls my Council Tax costs me? :rotfl2:

omg this is making me so excited

our tickets are for the 18th of october. we have been a couple of times and wouldnt miss it for the world.

i would say to everyone going to get dressed up. its half the fun. i wouldnt dare walk around like that in the uk but it seems ok because no one will ever (EVER) see the evidence :)

We may see you in there, thats the date we want if we go

Ooh yes def look out for us - we are going as Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas and possibly 2 pirates (the guys haven't sorted their costumes yet!)

I got some t shirts printed with a mickey pumpkin on the front and our names and Halloween 2011 and WDW logo on the back, and they've come out brill! Will post some piccys when I take some :goodvibes

Sarah, can I ask where you got your t-shirts printed, as this is something I would love to do. :)

Hi Lisa, yeah sure, it was www.vistaprint.co.uk

I ordered black t shirts (think it was an extra £2 per shirt for black) - white is included in the price. The front image is also included in the price, but it costs a bit extra to have things printed on the back if you wanted them (another extra £2 I think it was) so mine worked out about £9 a shirt which i didn't think was too bad.

I did think about printing the t shirt transfers and doing them at home, but by time I had bought the shirts and transfer paper, thought it would be less hassle and more professionally done if I ordered them for there. very happy with the results :goodvibes

I also got some notebooks printed to keep as a scrap book/journal and the print on those is incredible! must remember to post pics soon. only bad thing is they keep sending me loooads of emails with special offers now! :rotfl:

Thanks Sarah, I used Vista Print all the time, didn't think about t-shirts, will have a look :)

just thought i'd upload some piccys of the t shirts I made:

This is the front...

The print quality is really good, and would definitely recommend them :thumbsup2

I also made some notebooks to keep as journals for me and my friend (Mine is the purple one and hers is the orange stitch one as she's stich mad!)

gonna make some mousekeeping envelopes soon :goodvibes

Those t-shirts are great Sarah! How accurate were the t-shirt sizings? I will definitely have to order something similar for our trip next year, I made a few for DD last year with the help of the DISigners :)

We have tickets for the 30th October, can't wait. Just the Children's costumes to sort! Don't know if i can wait 4 weeks without my head exploding I am so excited!

Sarah, where did you get the pics?

I made them myself with the help of some disney clip art I found on various sites online (I'm a graphic designer with too much time on my hands! :rotfl:). If you pm me your email address, I can send them to you if you would like? I have quite a few more images as well (Mickey, Minnie with pumpkins and stuff) as I plan on making some mousekeeping envelopes too.

Aww thanks! :goodvibes I think they're quite accurate - I ordered the normal t-shirts so I guess they're men's sizes? but they do the ladie's sizes too (they didn't do ladies in black otherwise I would have got those). There is a size chart on there just to be on the safe side so it's probably best to go by that :thumbsup2

We waited till we got to florida to check the weather report for rain and picked a dry nite but was able to buy the ticket from kiosk at MGM (as was then)
