We were at the party last night and the queue for the Seven Dwarves was massive when we joined it just before 7:00. It barely moved in half an hour so we gave up in the end after I had gone to the front and taken a picture of them. Went back after the second parade and it was just as long but don't know if it was better in the middle of the party.

Managed to get a spot in the hub for Hallowishes about 20 minutes before it started but not so lucky when we went round to Liberty Square for the second parade. All the spots outside Hall of Presidents were taken so had to settle for watching it from behind the wall.

Got about half a bag of sweets each from one pass through most of the candy stations and most rides we did were walk ons throughout the night.

I made them myself with the help of some disney clip art I found on various sites online (I'm a graphic designer with too much time on my hands! ). If you pm me your email address, I can send them to you if you would like? I have quite a few more images as well (Mickey, Minnie with pumpkins and stuff) as I plan on making some mousekeeping envelopes too.



Aww thanks! I think they're quite accurate - I ordered the normal t-shirts so I guess they're men's sizes? but they do the ladie's sizes too (they didn't do ladies in black otherwise I would have got those). There is a size chart on there just to be on the safe side so it's probably best to go by that

hi its 1 am now can't sleep still on florida time.
just back this afternoon, after 2 great weeks of are disneymoon.

the halloween party is excellent, please note if there is a lighting storm over the party at the time any ride or character meet and greet will be stopped, we found this out when we went.

get dress up, hear is myself and bev at the party, we got stopped a lot and asked if we could have are picture taken.

After 2 party nights my advice would be choose what is most important to you before you go, characters or haloween party events because it's impossible to do both!!

If you are choosing to do the events expect it to be very crowded and that way you won't be dissapointed - the viian show is very good!!

Both nights we attended were busy with last nights been a sell out and ride lines stay long all night!!

Candy trails are for adults too so make sureecwryine grabs a bag and if there is no line go through more than once!!

We had a lot of fun last night by choosing to stay away from the parades and fireworks and saw a lot of characters and also joined in with the stitch 626 disco!!!

We attended two (one last week Tuesday and the second one on Sunday night). Tuesday was busier than last year - much busier, but we got a lot done. Although you can't do everything in one night, if you have a strategy you can do most of the party events. We managed on the first night to meet plenty of characters, including the Dwarves, got the party special magic photopass shots, saw the fireworks, stopped by a dance party, plenty of trick or treating, rides at the end of the night were walk on, despite the heavier attendance .... it is very doable if your party is able to keep up. However the reason I booked two this year is that last year we felt we could have used a second one for additional meet & greets and it worked out really nicely. Sunday night's party was absolutely the opposite in terms of attendance: SOOOOO quiet! We strolled up to the kerb as the headless horseman came round and had plenty room for ourselves and our friends (who had a stroller with them) right at the front in Main Street. I would recommend two if it is affordable, but again, it is manageable in one night

There was a photographer outside Pirates of the Carribean. It's not a magic shot but the effects on the pictures were really impressive. We still went back on our second party to get another as I wanted to see if it was just a great photographer the first time, but both lots were equally as effective.

The hitch hiking ghost shots were taken in Liberty Square a little way down from the Haunted Mansion (if you are facing BTMR, it is to the left).

The carriage photos, not special effects, but unique to MNSSHP are in Fantasyland just past Pinnoccio Village Haus on the way to Liberty Square

Our options are Sunday 23rd or Tuesday 25th. We had decided on Tuesday thinking the weekends would be busier but you think we would be better doing the Sunday night?

We found it to be way too busy this year....we were constantly run over by strolers and ECV's and the kids enjoyed it alot less this year because the crowds were crazy.....we managed to get 1/4 of a bag of candy each as the lines were so long and slow moving!!! We saw Hallowishes and the boo to you parade, which are both great......I loved it in 2009 and we had the best time but we were so disapointed this year and I don't think it's worth the extra money for what we were able to get done.....maybe I just picked the wrong day!
