I have been sooooo remiss in researching this party for my upcoming trip. I am going with my older (78) aunt. She is renting an ECV. Staying at BLT in a studio....

Ok...I have always wanted to see Hallowishes and the Headless Horseman and the Halloween Parade....those are definites to dos.

Can someone help me with a list of other to-dos for the party. I have read the VERY long thread on MNSSHP but cant seem to focus to come up with a basic itinerary...which is so not me!

Do the scary looking Dapper Dans have a specific schedule? Best trick or treat spots for Mickey and Minnie? Tactics on having photos taken with the Seven Dwarfs?

After wanting to go to this for years I seem to drawing blanks....I guess I always figured I would go with my kids but sadly, as teenagers, they arent interested right now LOL!

We just went as an all adult group. I still think my favorite part is trick or treating as an adult..and its completely ok. Remember your costume!!:cheer2:

You can got to the circus tent in "Toontown" to get pictures with Mickey and Minnie. I went the weekend before last for the first time to get my picture taken. The line was fairly short and moved pretty quickly. It's over by Mickey and Minnie's houses. They even have a special halloween party backdrop and Mickey and Minnie were dressed in their costumes (Mickey a Pirate and Minnie a Princess).

i would try and be on the last ride of the night for haunted mansion,

it was us and 2 people dressed as the bride and the hitchhiking ghost.
we had 5 CM in the stretching room having fun all circling us and when the lights came back on all of them were dead on the floor,

Oh and trick or treat throughout the event. especially in the last hour (you tend to get more candy then)

We went a few years back and it was one of the most fun times I have had at Disney.

I enjoyed all the Halloween costumes, and fewer crowds!

DH and I have been to the Halloween party twice and are going again this year.

His favorite part is being in the MK with no lines for all the rides. He also likes Hallowishes best of all the fireworks displays Disney puts on, because of the colors and songs they use. He also loves being in costume, and will spend weeks getting his costume together.

Things that annoy him:

The Heffalump song being stuck in his head for *weeks* afterwards.

"Boo, to you, and you and you and you."

DH hates the trick or treating (which is by no means obligatory), every year he says he won't do it, but always ends up holding out a bag "for me".

Overall, the party is a great time, and obviously we wouldn't keep going back if the "annoyances" were really that bad ;)
