MNSSHP FastPass?

So just to clarify and to make sure I can do what I think I can do: there will be 5 of us doing the 10/3 party. No other tickets that day but the party tickets. I can use my MNSSHP tickets to book a 7DMT and A and E FP between 4-7?

Follow up clarification. My ticket is linked on MDE already due to it doing it automatically upon purchase . The other 4 have just the hard ticket. Should I like these tickets as well now?

YES....and YES....

Two scenarios:

1. DH and I have 5 day park hoppers linked to our bands. We are using a park tix day to go to MK during the day and then taking a midday break and then using our MNSSHP tix (linked to bands) to enter park at 4pm. Will we be able to schedule our regular 3 FP+ using our park tix from 9-4...and then schedule another 3 from 4-7p using our bands? Also, how will the scanners know to scan the band for a PARTY TICKET instead of using up a PARK TICKET?

2. We are traveling with another couple who have 2 day park tix and MNSSHP tix alsolinked to bands. They are ONLY using MNSSHP that day to enter park at 4. Can I schedule FP+ for them from 4-7 using their party tix? And when we enter, how can we be sure they use the party tix instead of using a park tixket?

1a. Seriously doubt it.

1b. I don't know, depends on the software and who knows what else. What I do know is that I would just use the actual party ticket to enter, thereby taking away the chance of a SNAFU. (There's an actual acronym, not an initialism! ;))

2a. The vast majority of guests who try this report yes, you can.

2b. See 1b.

Can someone who has a party ticket AND a regular ticket try and book 6 FPs? 3 before 4pm and 3 after 4pm and let us know? :)
We are going to MK in the morning then back again at 4 for MNSSHP. Our MNSSHP tickets are printed out and listed on MDE. I already made my fastpasses for the day of the party from 3-6:30.
When I try to make FP+ for the party day, it lets me get back in there but there is a note that says FP+ selections were already made for us. I'm afraid they will override the ones I made at midnight a week or two ago. I tried this on another day that I will not be going to the party and again it allows me to go in there to "select FP+." I am not taking any chances of losing the ones I have.
I had my MNSSHP tickets connected from the day I bought them. If 6 FP+ were allowed this way - I think it would have been offered to me at midnight at my 60 day mark. But I could be doing something wrong.

Thanks mesa! That's kind of what I figured...I just don't want to scan our bands for party entry and have them steal a park day because we entered at 4. Maybe there will be separate scanner tap styles just for party entry that look for MNSSHP tux on your band??

This is our first time going to MNSSHP and using FP+ and MB. I have physical hard tickets for the MNSSHP. Do I need to go on-line and link them via the MDE or not?

If I do not link them will I get to book FP+ selections from 4-7 during the party?

We have a package that includes 5 day tickets. We will go to MNSSHP on Friday visit parks Sat, Sun, Mon, then Tues is a rest day, parks again on Wed, and Thursday and then Friday attend MVMCP.

I am really nervous I am going to screw something up.

As i recall, they will. But don't fall for it--it's a trap! To me the peace-of-mind of knowing they can't possibly deduct a regular park day by using the party ticket far outweighs the trouble (if any) of carrying it.

1. No.

2. Without linking valid ticket media, you won't be bookin' nothin'.

You and me both!

I have updated the FP thread with the info that party tickets can be used to book FP between the hours of 4:00p and 7:00p only.

Yay!! That's what I was hoping. We are making a weekend-trip just for MNSSHP. Myself and the kids have NE tickets on our account, so we could make FP regardless, but my parents and possibly other family is joining us, and only have party tickets. Hopefully we will all be able to get FP+ at 60 days out for those first few hours.

I'm also worried about the scanning part though - I don't want to lose a day on our NE tickets when we enter! The party tickets are already attached to my account because that's how I bought them, but I asked for a hard-ticket to be mailed.

Will that ticket media be able to be scanned for entry so I can just not scan my band at all? Or will it be useless since it's already registered to an MDE account?

1. I have no personal experience in this case, but I've read enough reports from posters to convince me the MDE system allows this.

2. I believe so, and I recommend doing it this way.

I was unable to reserve FP+ for MNSSHP. It said I had reached my FP+ limit and would not let me do anymore. When I asked Disney, they told me that I would be able to make FP+ in the park if I arrived before 7pm, but not out of the park. I'm not sure if it makes a difference, but my other tickets are 7 day Y.E.S. tickets and we are doing all these days before the Halloween party. I have heard of others being able to reserve FP+ for MNSSHP ahead of time, so I'm not sure why I can't.

Thanks for the info everyone, I'll try booking A&E for 6:00pm.

One more question, though not entirely related to FP+. I purchased the MNSSHP tickets through the site and selected the print at home option, but since I wasn't at home at the moment I was unable to print them. They appear in MyDisney under tickets, does that mean they're linked to my MagicBand? Do I still need to print the tickets?

ROTFL!!! <---(initialism, not acronym). Sorry to go off topic, but this made me LOL after the big debate last week.

We are going to MNSSHP 9/26 and I am grateful for all of this info! :)

If you are only planning to go to MNSSHP then you can do FP+ between 4 and 7pm, if available A&E go very quickly so get on at midnight Orlando time that day (seriously, that's 5am when I come to do it :surfweb: ). You cannot have FP+ on the MNSSHP 4-7pm window if you have booked them for another park the same day, so go straight to MK on FP+ option and take the first one that suits your plans, it may not necessarily be 6pm, in fact go earlier as you will still probably be be in a long line even for FP+ and you don't want to waste any of the party itself waiting in line, I'd go for the nearest to 4pm or after option if it were me, A&E done then off to enjoy the party.

FP+ are not available for EMH either, if you recall, the old paper ticket FP machine were always covered for EMH in the old days.

So if I have non hopper ticket and plan to do AK that morning, and MNSSHP that night, can I save my 3 FP+ for MK from 4-7?

YES....you have to choose 1 or the other....MNSSHP FP OR regular FP at another park.

I am not doing another park that day and was unable to get any FP+ for the Halloween party day. When I wrote Disney, I was told that I couldn't get them until I was in the park.

Thanks so much for this thread!! I went ahead and purchased my MNSSHP tickets for 9/9 and I was able to book FP+ with just that ticket. I was lucky to get a 7DMT, but no A&E (not a surprise at all), so that worked out well!!
