I honestly think I would be upset if I was going at the end of Oct, too. If you don't hit a party - then you are stuck with a VERY crowded Magic Kingdom. But...the parties should be less crowded...the people will be spread out.
not true....late october is historically slow. it's been rated as one of the top 10 times to visit in terms of crowds.
Friends went on their honeymoon last year and it was dead.
Not worried about crowds after labor day!









And we get to catch is ZERO times.
I dont' think anyone predicted the late start. With the changes, now instead of having it twice during our trip, they are having it three times, which seems excessive as that's three nights we can't go into MK without a ticket, and we are over at BLT because we like to pop over to MK for rides at night. It looks like hallowishes was at 9:30 last year- we have a 7:40 Cali Grill ADR so we should have no problem still being there for hallowishes- though we could just go over to Top of the World after dinner to watch them otherwise!
