MNSSHP dates change again ?

If we learned anything from this in the past few weeks it is do not presume or assume anything till it becomes official.I would not get hopeful or excited till those dates come out and tickets go on sale.

After yesterday I learned my lesson and didn't cancel anything but added some ressies in case it was true. Last night I called to book the Tea Party and the CM I spoke to said the parties were going to be on the 4th and 11th which I knew could not be right because of Night of Joy. But now the calendar has reverted. At this point- whatever. I am going to e-mail them a nice letter explaining how having to make ADR's 180 days out means that everything for the same time period should be released at once. I mean this is getting silly. Version 1 was the 7 PM close on Fri and Wed, right? The GOOD version (for those of us with 10 night trips planned at the beginning of Sept and REALLY want to go to the Halloween Party!)

And Version 2 has MK open later....The Bad version.

as of 10:15 AM CST - they are on the BAD version. I know last night they were on the good version.

The parks can close early for reasons other than parties. Maybe on one or both of those dates there is a private event going on for a convention. I wouldn't speculate based on the hours on the calendar. I would wait until the tickets go on sale and see what dates they are actually selling them for.

Well, the 9 PM closings are still back for the 3rd and the 8th . . . . so cruel. . .so cruel. . .

I called the Pirates League today to verify and they concur...the dates are back to the first party being the 14th.

Those folks going those first 13 days of Sept are out of luck. And I feel bad for those going late in October, because it seems like there is a party every other night?? Just doesn't seem like it is a good use of the park hours, if you ask me.

This is getting crazy...I made my plans the 180 days out..was happy with the plan, then the dates changed..and then changed back to what I had originally...and NOW they hange again..not only does this affect those of us who want to go to MNSSHP, but also the dummies like me that tried to plan a night to see Spectro..so frustrated..when are the tickets officially on sale?? I have to go bang my head against a wall now.

I am in the same boat. Made all my ADR now looks like if it stays the way it is now I will have to redo a lot of what I had planned. Between the dates changing and the whole will they have free dining or won't they I am ready to pull my hair out. I feel like I am getting whip lash!

Mouseplanet had the party dates for both MNSSHP or MVMCP posted and *I think* they said that tix go on sale as of this coming Monday.

I ALMOST got tix, but the system wouldn't let the CM sell them to me tonight!
She said to "check back on...um...in a couple days"

I honestly think I would be upset if I was going at the end of Oct, too. If you don't hit a party - then you are stuck with a VERY crowded Magic Kingdom. But...the parties should be less crowded...the people will be spread out.

Unless you are one of the unlucky ones that planned your trip for Labor Day week and the following weekend - then you get NO party.

Oh well. They just saved me some money, I guess.

Oh no!!!! I wanted to go the MNSSHP - but I have to go to Disney Labor Day week. I had the best idea for matching family costumes and I already bought the material!!!!



Oh well, I guess that means we have to go back in Oct. Too bad.
