MNSSHP - Candy Bags

Hi.
I booked a full trip for my friends, their adult kids and their grandchildren for September 10-17, 2016.
Last weekend, when I was going over their itinerary (they didn't even know where there where staying, said couldn't remember OMG), they asked if they needed to pack their Trick or Treat bags for the kids.

Can someone please let me know about above.

Thank you.

We hand every one in group one of those string-type book bags

Good for stuffing costume accessories, etc. and to off load the candy

When more than one little kiddo, we bring a 'real' book bag along.

We went to our first MNSSHP last year. We hit almost every candy stop and were surprised at how much candy you get at each stop. Our bags were all full and we put them in our backpack. That backpack was VERY heavy by the end of the night.

The bags they hand out are heavy plastic. We have kept all of ours over the years. They usually are promo for a new movie.

We also just dump into a backpack if they become full. But even full, it's a good bit of candy.

Ok, sorry I got my material wrong, but the ones we got in the two years we went are not heavy plastic like a real tote bag. They definitely can rip and fall apart. You are right they are not paper bags like brown lunch bags, but the edges will rip and tear. I don't have mine anymore because they ripped and I threw them away, but I know I was glad to have an alternative way to carry our candy.

I noticed some kids like the buckets they bring with them but by the end of the night I think they regretted carrying them around! I like the ones they give you like others have said you can always get more. We have found that CMs more than generous. One year it must have been sponsored by Peeps they were even shoving them in your bag after you left the park!
