I am in the middle of planning our Oct '14 trip and I am still undecided on going to MNSSHP, that being said I plan on making ARD for CRT in the evening one night of our stays, and I know the dates of the party won't come out until after we make make ARDs, as I read the norm is for them to announce party dates in May and our 180 days out is in April. My question is if our reservation for CRT falls on a MNSSHP night, and we don't have tickets to the party, how will that effect our dining reservations? Im so confused =/

As far as I know, they don't offer ADR's at CRT during the parties, but if they DO (like for the Fireworks Dessert Party) guests must buy a ticket to the party that night to attend the meal.

So by April they should already have the CRT reservations mapped out so they are not open during the party then?

Look at www.easywdw.com Last year's calendar is still up. I think the dates will change but the parties are on the same days. I think it was Thursday, Friday, and Sunday. Maybe Tuesday too.

As long as you make the reservation prior to 7PM it will not matter if there is a party that evening or not. It is my understanding that you are "escorted" out of the park by a CM after you finish eating if you don't have a ticket. I remember seeing a thread on it here. FWIW I LOVE the MNSSHP. If you have never been I definitely think it is worth experiencing.

Thank you! thats very helpful. Looks like the week we are going there wasn't a party on Monday or Wensday, and since we are arriving on Monday I would rather do it Wensday, so Wensday it will be!:cool1:

Im just trying to decide if it's worth the money for us at this time. Our kiddos will be 5, 3, and 18 months. The 3 and 18 month old shut down around 9pm, and I would hate to pay all the extra money to only stay 2 extra hours. =/

But that does make me feel better that we would just be escorted out. Even if we do decide to do the party, I wouldn't want to do it the same night as CRT, I would rather do some quick dining so we could enjoy the party

If you make the reservation for before 7pm, it doesn't matter if there is a party or not, you're allowed to stay for your reservation. If you make the reservation after 7pm and you don't have a party ticket, you can't stay.

You should be fine doing it on Wednesday - I don't think they've ever had a party on a Wednesday, although I assume they would on Halloween itself. And the hours for October will be posted mid to late March and while they most likely won't have the party dates announced by then, the MK closes at 7:00 on party nights, so you'll be able to tell from that what nights the party takes place on.

I hadn't thought of that! Thank you!
