Hi everyone!

I'm considering adding a day to an Orlando business trip next month, to do MNSSHP and F&W (neither of which I have done before). It will only cost about $180 plus food, but give me almost two full park days.

One of the things keeping me from jumping in with both feet is that, actually, I'm not all that into Halloween. I would love to do the party, for the special parade, show and fireworks. But I really don't like dressing in costume. I wouldn't mind wearing a themed t-shirt, but beyond that, not so much.

How out of place would I be?

You wouldn't be out of place at all. In fact I would say the majority of party goers are not in costume or at least a goodly portion. I have been to the party solo and with my boyfriend and we've never worn costumes. We didn't feel self conscious at all! I'd say GO FOR IT, and have a blast!

I've gone to several Halloween parties solo without wearing a costume. Plenty of people don't dress up, you won't be out of place at all. And frankly, most people don't notice or care what anyone else is doing.

There are plenty of people not wearing costumes. If you have a Halloween t-shirt then go with that. We did notice that the people with costumes stay til the end of the night while those without costumes seen to leave earlier. That's not to say that you shouldn't stay until the end. It just seems that more people are wearing costumes by the end of the night but its probably because the crowds thinned out so the percentage is up.

Go Have fun!

Not all that out of place...I will be doing the same thing. I am not a big fan of Halloween, but want to experience the parties. I dont dress up or bring any attention to myself...I just go. I hope you go and enjoy the party! :)

Wear a pumpkin shirt like I did your in the season but not over the top with a costume! :)

Been twice, no costume either time. No weird looks or anything. You fit right in. It's a fun time, and worth for sure trying it once. The vibe is way different, and the parade and fireworks are fantastic.

DH and I didn't wear costumes. I wore a cheap glow-stick spooky necklace and headband, while DH wore black skeleton gloves. Plenty of people didn't even go that far. You'll be fine and not out of place with no Halloween costume.

You won't feel out of place whatever you decide to do. You see people in no costumes, full all-out costumes, character costume tee shirts, and people who DisneyBound.... Hope you have a great time!
