MNSSHP 2017 - Strategy in the making.

Just curious, but are there threads like this for regular day plans/itineraries! I love seeing other plans and getting tips for my own!!!

Been lurking like crazy on this and finally decided to just take the plunge and sign up. I can't say how invaluable all of this thread is.
It will be me (25/f) and my boyfriend (24/m). I've been to Disney countless times. He's been three times, in the four years we've been together LOL. This is a super quick trip to check out Pandora, the party, and the Food and Wine Fest. He loves Halloween. We'll be at the Sunday Sept. 24 party.
3:15 - 3:30 -> arrive at MK
4:00 - 4:15 -> enter park, get wristbands at entrances (does this mean we have to take the bypass though?)
4:15 - 4:45 -> FP+ Space Mountain (4-5)
4:45 - 5:00 -> head over to Big Thunder, stopping for photos along the way (probably an overestimate of time)
5:00 - 5:30 -> FP+ Big Thunder (5-6)
5:30 - 6:00 -> Dinner at Pecos Bills
6:10 - ?:?? -> Pooh and friends Meet and Greet (this is only characters we really want to meet)
?:?? - 8:30 -> Rides, photos, ToT etc (flex time)
8:30 - 10:30 -> Parade, Hallowishes from near Caseys with ice cream, candy, treats, plus one of us going to get the ornament from Emporium
10:30 - midnight -> Rides, photos, ToT, any characters we find that are short
midnight -> Sandershow show, photos on the way out.

I am going back to the drawing board a little bit on plan. I registered for FP before I knew we would be going to party. There are no more 7dmt left, but thinking my family could possibly squeeze it in later in the party. Does know what the wait time has been on this ride during the party? (i have been pouring over character wait times and didn't pay too close attention to ride wait times. (although I am slightly getting worried Irma will wreak havoc on my plans. Hopefully not!!!!)

This may not be doable, but just in case you end up in the area...

We have the HalloWishes Dessert Party booked. I'd love to see HalloWishes in the reserved plaza viewing area and then stay in the same location for the Hocus Pocus Show. In a perfect world, we would stay there for the parade too...but I'm not sure how this would work logistically due to the plaza area fencing.

If the viewing area of the plaza would work with the parade, will you let me know? We have 4.5yo twins and are trying to let them relax in their stroller that late at night but still see the fireworks, shows, and parade without moving around a ton.

Not available for DP yet but have read on the Boards over the past few days that recent changes to the app suggest that it could open for the Dining Plan anytime over the next few weeks. Fingers crossed it is available for us soon.

This would be awesome and a HUGE time saver on our party night! I would love to be able to order and pick up between character meets!

If you pass by Goofy after 8pm, a wait time would be great (maybe even what his break time is around the first parade-he's in the parade I thought, can't check at time of asking though).
Can't recall anyone saying much about him, interested to know if he's new costume gives him a longer wait.

I start my hotel stay on 10/31
We have parkhoppers we aren't using until 11/1 and the Halloween Party tix for 10/31
Can I book FP against my Halloween ticket on 10/31 AND FP for each of my parkhopper days starting 11/1?
Or will that mess me up somehow?

As long as you have tickets linked to My Disney Experience you should be fine. You have to have one day of ticket for each day of FP. MNSSHP tickets count as one day of tickets.
