Arghh I was hoping for earlier dates!! We'll be there 9/12-9/20...does anyone have an opinion or experience on whether the 15th (first party of the season) or 18th (a Friday) would be better crowd-wise?

I really don't think those dates are correct. I think they just wanted to be first.

I'm really hoping for a party on the 7th! Not sure why they would close MK early on a holiday if there wasn't going to be a party.

Thanks for posting this. We are arriving very late on the 30th (really the 31st by the time we will get to the resort)
I was planning on going on the 31st-but is there any reason not to do the Nov 1st?

I agree. WDWmagic isn't an official site, while the travel agents' calendar (which shows the early closing on the 1st, 4th, and 7th) is from Disney.

I know last year people was saying ( I think there was even a poll) that Mnnshp started too early--- ( we were at the 1st party)

With that said--- the 15th seems to be a bit late, but maybe they did feel it was too early ( and a bit hot) last year??

I don't know (it's not a site I follow), but I just think that since they are unofficial, that they're more likely to be wrong. I will concede though that initially, the travel agents' calendar for August 2014 showed an early close on the 31st, which had a lot of people thinking there was going to be an MNSSHP that day, but it later changed and there was no party that day.

I have been a member on there for a long long time and they don't normally post incorrect info, but these dates just don't look right. They have always been very accurate in the past so this a little confusing.

Yes, I do remember that from last August. So I think there is probably no hope.

Disney wouldn't let half of September go by without making the usual income. That's how I knew WDWMagic was wrong. Lol

I was surprised when I saw these posted over "there" already, seems early.
I assumed I was safe with my planned Oct 19-21st, hitting MNSSHP that Tuesday the 20th. But I was originally thinking early September, if this holds true, a lot of disappointed folks I am guessing...
