I know that fast passes aren't available during the party but is there any way you can reserve them between 4-7 if you get to the park at 4? Are you still able to get them at the kiosk?

I did not use the kiosk but I was able to use MDE to get an A&E from 4/5 and a BOG at 5:45 when i went on halloween.

You can link them to your MDE account and make them ahead of time, just like with regular park tickets.

Yay! Thanks for the info! We are planning to stay at one of the resorts so we can do the MDE...will we get a Magic Band or a hard ticket?

You will get a MB for staying onsite. If you purchase your tickets through your MDE account, they will go directly to your band (I.e. no physical ticket at all, unless you print your own, which I would ). If you just purchase the tickets without going through your MDE account (just go online and buy, not from inside your account, KWIM?), you'll receive a plastic ticket in the mail. Either way, I recommend using ticket media instead of your band to enter on party night just to make sure it doesn't use one of your regular park tix from your band (if you have some on there) by mistake. An IT CM recommended doing that, so I did, and had no issues. Might not have had any anyway, but it was just as easy. Have fun!!

That's great to know...we'll probably book it through the MDE Account since we are only going to the Party -we're just stopping for that Sunday night since we'll be leaving for a Dream cruise the next day! Will we still get bands if we're only going to the party?

Late to the party, sorry actually going next year. I was wondering two things. First was did anyone go to the party on October 21ST? The one I am planning on is the 20TH next year, as long as they follow the same pattern which they usually do. So if you were at that party was it sold out? I went to a sold out MVMCP and had a blast, so I am sure it won't be a problem even if it does sell out, but hoping it doesn't.

Second question, when you go at 4 or any other time before party hours, do you take your costume with you and change when it is time for the party or just wear it? I think I might feel strange walking around in costume pre party.

I think it was more the day then the date effecting sell out, I don't beleive the 20th/21st was sold out this year.

Depends on costume, I go all out on costumes so I have to prepare at hotel then take bus to hotel to get there for 4 or so. As an adult they won't let you in before 4pm in costume, so i tend to take it easy during day get prepared then get on the bus around 3pm to get there for close to 4.

You look great Smitch. Love the costumes. Thanks for the answers to both you and the pp. I am so excited our first trip just myself and DH. Do you remember my planning for our last trip of 20+. It will be so much more relaxing. Love going with family, but am going to love this too.
