MNSSHP 2012 Thread (?)

People are asking the CM's what dates they are when they book I think you'll find. I asked when the dates were September and October and was given the list of MNSSHP dates. Then she said... Sept 30th is already sold out. I was pretty shocked... so I have 2 other days to pick from while we are there at Disney!!

But it can't be "sold out" if tickets aren't released yet. People can ask all they want about when the dates are, but they can't buy the actual tickets until they are released to the public. The CM I spoke with after reading this post verified that and assured me that no tickets have been sold as of yet and that the dates haven't even "officially" been announced. She also said that as far as she knows, the tickets won't even go on sale until May 1st. :confused3

So I say, if Sept. 30th is the date you really want to go, call the first day the tickets actually go on sale and see if you can get tickets for that date. Come back and let us know - I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya! ;)

We will be there Oct.14-21. As of now, it's only DH and myself traveling so not sure if I will be able to convince him to dress up in a costume.

We'll be there for several parties! We're local, so we like to go on a few nights. I have different costumes we wear on different nights. But always do the Victorian Ghosts on Halloween night. Last year we had a group of us. We we're the haunted mansion brides parents and my best friend was the bride. Even had her husband as the groom and their son as the grim reaper. They can't come this year so I'll have to recruit my kids & grand kids to come with us.It was a little crowded Halloween night but it's so much fun! Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Just booked PODQ for Sept. 13-17 and planning to attend the 9/14 party. Last year was my first time going and we also went on the first Friday of the party.

I would love to see a picture of you in your costumes from last year if you are willing to post. We fly to Orlando so travelling with big costumes is a bit of a challenge for us.

One of the parties we went to last year was 9/27 and it was SO busy :scared1: The next one we went to the following week was much quieter, but we thoroughly enjoyed both :cool1:

First MNSSHP for us! Thanks to free dining, we will be at POR 9-26 to 9-30. we are hoping there is a party on Fri 9-28 :)

Glad we are not the only ones already thinking about costumes.
my granddaughters want to do Alice in Wonderland costumes and have us all dress up, my dh wants to do pirates... I just want something cool, comfortable and easy to pack :)

My DD is going as Mad Hatter and all 3 of my DS are going as pirates. DH and I wont dress in costumes, but I do have a Mickey Halloween t-shirt I purchased in Nov.

That the date of Sept 30th MNSSHP is already sold out.

I was asking a cast member today about the dates for this in Sept/Oct.

Until I know what the Sept/October calendar looks like I can't really plan our dates. I'm amazed at how other people know to buy tickets this far in advance!! :rotfl:

Happy planning all!!

:goodvibes:

I think you got a misinformed phone CM.....sadly there are too many of those. The dates are released, but you can speculate by looking at Sept's calendar. There could be a private event going on at MK that date, but that would be different. They have done that in the past for some marathon runners, or other groups. I went down one year when DHS closed early for a Princess marathon group to have a party.

This will be our first MNSSHP as well! Our dates are Oct12-Oct21. Want to go on Oct 16th if they offer that date. I can't wait to surprise the kids!:yay:

We'll be there October 4-14. Aiming for the Tuesday October 9 MNSSHP if there is one scheduled for that night.

I'm dressing up, just not sure what as yet!

I've got the pictures made but haven't scanned them into the compute yet. But I'll get it done soon.

one dgd wants to be the white queen, the other one wants to be Alice
they want grandpa to be the mad hatter (of course..lol) not sure what I would do, the red queen costumes are very expensive or way too short for this grandma unless I can alter it.

What are the "usual" nights of the parties? Tues, right? Trying to plan when we'll get to attend our very first MNNSHP!

We are going September 16th - 21 and hoping there will be one scheduled that week. We have been there in early September before and experienced all the Halloween decorations but this will be our first time for MNSSHP!

We are on Disneymoon 19th Oct to 1st Nov so think we will def be going to one party! I dont think we will dress up but i might try and get a halloween themed t shirt!

Do you think we should avoid the party on the 31st? I imagine it will be sold out and really busy!

We are doing our 6th:scared1: MNSSHP this year. Fair warning, if you are a Halloween junkie these things are horribly addicting. I am already working on costume ideas for me and DH (I quit trying to cordinate my 2 DS's years ago-to hard to come up with boy ideas) So far I am thinking either Belle/Gaston or Rapunzel/Flynn...only time will tell.

I believe the usual nights are Tuesdays and Fridays, with Sundays added in as it gets closer to Halloween.

DH and I are definitely dressing up - we're trying to decide between a pirate/wench and hippies! :hippie:
