Both are totally worth every cent! And then some! Cirque is awesome too.
But MNSSHP is only seasonal and if you are lucky enough to be able to go while it's on, it is an absolute MUST do! Are you going to dress up?
I, too, wish they would release the dates sooner. I feel just the slightest bit uneasy booking DVC for dates where I'm kinda-sorta-pretty-sure there will be a party.
I had a look at the park hours on the Disney website and the nights were MK closes at 7 pm are likely to be party nights However as you are going in October you may have to wait a little bit longer. I have always used previous years park hours to work around for a rough guide until official hours are released
We will be there Oct. 3-7 , and I am assuming there will be a party that Thurs. or Fri. as, historically, there always appears to be a party that first weekend in October.
For those going in September and trying to get a bead on dates, you might check the official MK calendar: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/magic-kingdom/calendar/
They don't have up October up yet, but you'll note that there are a lot of dates in September where the park closes at 7:00. That's a pretty good indication that those are MNSSHP dates.
It's our first time too. We went during MNSSHP last year, but didn't go. We thought as adults w/o kids we would be out of place - little did we know!We have definite plans to go this time around.
Anyone have their costumes figured out? And if so, wanna share? We've gone through a few things but shot them down, figuring it will be too hot while we're there.
That the date of Sept 30th MNSSHP is already sold out.
I was asking a cast member today about the dates for this in Sept/Oct.
Until I know what the Sept/October calendar looks like I can't really plan our dates. I'm amazed at how other people know to buy tickets this far in advance!!
Happy planning all!!

Did the dates even get released yet???
