Here is my tip. When the Headless Horseman comes out during the parade, do not stand in the middle of the street because the man in the Headless Horseman suit CAN NOT SEE! The horse is trained so he knows where to go. The cast members do get a little mean once the headless horse man comes out. Because I am pretty sure they do not want him to fall and hurt himself.
REMEMBER THIS TIP!!!!!!!! ok

Now I have a question. Where do u get pirate coustume for a good price?

Well, i went as a fancy pirate last year, my tips are:

Get some old pants and make nickers out of them. I used the tape that when you iron it it bonds the material, and then i cut holes to string in a ribbon so that i could tightend it up around my leg.

My vest i used was an old jacket (the long type). I cut off the arms and then glued/sewed a trim to dress the jacket up.

Bought some fabric for my belt. (no sew project) Just cut and wore.

I bought $5 hat, and added my own feathers and band to it (left over material from my belt). Since feathers are expensive, i used a fancy christmas ornament for my feathers and the ornament part for my hat.

The shirt i did buy, it was on ebay from hals!_since_2001 (Dresslikeapirate.com), i like the big sleeves.

Oh, and i bought white trouser socks, and for my shoes i wore a black no show sock and my black crocs.... Ok, dont laugh....it was night time, and you couldnt event tell i was wearing crocs! So Funny!!

Anyway, it was really fun pulling this costume together....Hope this helps!

Yes there are. Now, can I remember them?

I believe that you can not dress like a masked character so that kids won't mistake you for the character.

I am not sure about any other rules. Can someone else help out?
