MNSSHP - 10/26 or 10/31

I am helping a friend plan a trip in October.

Would you advise going to MNSSHP on 10/31 or will it be CRAZY! Should she go another night of her trip.

10/26 will be their arrival day - They will be driving in from SC, so the drive would not be horribly tough or long. If they left at 8am they would arrive b/t 2p-3p.

What is your experience?

Both will likely be sellouts, and therefore be equally "crazy". That said, it is the party activites that see the most crowds by far--the attractions themselves and the park at large tend to be much less crowded than a normal park day.
