Went to MNSSHP last night. Got to the TTC around 6:30 and the monorail was only running one way so I had to take the ferryboat. They had all 3 boats going so we had to stop in the middle of the lake for boat traffic :)

Got to MK right at 7pm and wristsband as well as trick or treat bags were being given out in front of the locker/stroller rental area.

Went right to Toontown and there was a line for face painting already. It was long so decided to hit the Barnstormer. It was a walk on and only 6 people we on our "plane"

Then it was a walk through Fantasyland and over to Liberty Square to ride Haunted Mansion. Just before entering Liberty Square and just past IASM they had Cindy's glass coach and they were taking pictures in front of it. The little princesses looked ADORABLE!!!

Liberty Square is VERY cool during MNSSHP!! They had the fog machines going full boar and it was VERY creepy looking. As we walked to the front of the HM we could hear a woman's voice but with all the fog we had no idea where it was coming from. Just up from the hearse coach on the hill was the Bride of Master Gracey and she was doing a commentary on all the festivities as well as joking around about the fog. HM was a walk on. About 15 people in the stretching room total. The CM'S were in full make up as well which definately added to the experience.

On to Adventureland for a dole whip float and then onto POTC. That area as well was very foggy. POTC also a walk on, was as always...very cool to ride.

Next stop Frontierland, where we walked onto BTMRR and had the back few seats. This ride is totally different at night and much better IMHO.

It was getting close to Hallowishes so decided to go to Main Street to view them. We took up seats on the curb just after Casey's to wait for the show to begin. They had a balloon guy there and he was making hat balloons and swords for everyone. The CM'S were doing their best to get the crowd doing the wave.

Hallowishes was a good show. I enjoy Wishes more but Hallowishes didn't dissapoint either.

The 2nd parade was scheduled to begin at 10:30 and at about that time we had to lift our feet for a "special treat" and the headless horseman galloped past us shortly thereafter. It was about another 10 minutes or so before we saw the parade. Let me just say that Disney has outdone themselves on this one!!!!! If I didn't go on a single ride, get a piece of candy or do anything else....the parade was so worth it!!!

I was wearing an Evil Queen shirt and Cruella wasn't impressed and came over and gave me a hard time, wondered why I wasn't wearing her shirt!
Can I just say 2 words for all the ladies? CAPTAIN JACK!! pirate:  hot dang! he was amazing!!!! The gravediggers were awesome...heck anything that causes sparks down Main Street USA is COOL!!!!! The haunted dancers were a sight to see! It was just a GREAT parade all the way around!!!! Now if I can ever get that music out of my head I'll be good to go!

At 11:00 everything was winding down and I had a very long day so I decided to leave my group and head home. The monorail was running and there wasn't a wait at all. Trams weren't packed either so it was a fast ride back to the van to drive home.

Lots of costumes on both young and old!!!! Got lots of candy although I didn't get in any candy line. When waiting for the fireworks and parade CM's were walking up and down handing out handfuls of candy. I got a lot and then at the end they had a Snickers trough where they were handing out more.

Any questions? I'll be happy to answer

Crowds were very managable, weather was perfect. It was a great night.

Thanks for a great report! We're going later this month and the excitement is building (especially now that you've mentioned Jack  ). After reading too many "it's too crowded, no one had wristbands, people are rude" reports, I'm so glad to hear you had a great time. You've given me hope! Thank you, thank you!

We were there last night as well and had an awesome time! We went right to Toontown at 7 and got photos with Mickey and Minnie. Around 7:45 everything in Fantastyland was a walk on. Saw Snow White and all 7 dwarfs pose for a photo. At Cinderalla's coach we waited about 10 min. HM was a walk on as were most of the rides we saw in Tomorrowland. We got the last part of the early parade at Liberty Square and then got a Dole Whip.
The line for Tarzan & Jane in Adventureland was the longest we saw all night. We didn't even start to get candy until after fireworks and we still had 3 heaping bags at the end of the night. We watched Hallowishes from mid Main St and it was fantastic.

After the fireworks Main St filled up pretty quickly for the late parade so we headed towards Frontierland and had a great spot right in front of the Diamond Horseshoe revue. This was a great spot to see the Headless Horseman come from Frontierland. We finally pooped out at 11:40 our 3 month old had been asleep since 7:30. We were dressed as Lightnings Pit Crew from 'Cars' if you saw us.

Any other questions I would be happy to answer. This morning we slept in and are now heading for F&W :)

We were there last night too. We checked out of Music at 11AM, and it made for a very long day. We had an early flight home this morning, so we stayed at the Holiday Inn Select at the airport last night after MNSSHP.
We arrived at the MK before 4PM, we used our AP's to enter the turnstyles. They were still decorating Main St for the party. I thought the Parade alone was well worth the money. At 7PM we were in Toontown, so we took the walk from Toontown to Tomorrowland. There were lots of stations open and we got lots of goodies. We watched the early parade in Frontierland. It was fun. We left the party early because DH was dragging. We went over to the Wilderness Lodge and watched the fireworks from their property. We arrived at the Holiday Inn around 10:30PM, went to Denny's across the street and I printed our bording passes for JetBlue before we both collapsed into the very comfortable King Size Bed. We got up at 5:30AM today to head to the airport. There was NO line at security and we got there super early at 6:20AM for our 8AM flight.
We really weren't scheduled to to the MNSSHP party, we were attending the NFFC convention on the weekend, but we were sure glad that we did.
In additon, NFFC was lots of fun. This was a nice short unscheduled trip.

Just bumping this up I thought there were a lot of Disers going that night. I'm interested to hear other's reviews.

I was at the 2nd MNSSHP!

Did you happen to see this kid? He's mine:

We had a wonderful time....however, since you asked:

We found it crowded. More so than Ive seen in previous years - granted I havent been back since 2000 - BUT it seemed kinda crowded, to me. :confused3

We had a really good time...never long enough, you know? The fireworks ALONE were worth the price of admission! SO COOL! But where's the flying witch? No more instead-of-tinkerbell-it's-a-witch????

They did a great job of hustling everyone NON-wristbanded out of the park... I have to give them credit.

My son still has his wristband on. :teeth:

Yep! We saw him over at the Transit Authority. My boys were in awe of his hair!

I didn't see him I would remember that hair.
