Maybe I am misreading this, or in a bad mood.. but..

Why would they discount military tix 15$ more than DVC? I hold AP, I buy rooms, I don't get it. If a person, works in the military and come 1 night and it is cheaper for them. (by over 50$ for there family)


I am fine with the price, and I feel they are alienating me, being DVC and AP just are not good enough to meet there top discounts..

DVC / AP holders. you get 3$ off.. ...but instead military peeps are more important to there business plan (or need a reward for there support) almost 6 times more, than either of the above.

I get rewarding peeps who help the country out. I TOTALLY do! TO BE CRYSTAL CLEAR I SUPPORT MILITARY DISCOUNTS, AND .. why not reward your people who continually return too, instead of saying.. you pay 15$ more per person, cause you only hold a DVC card.. and nothing more for APs. so sorry

It should be the same across the board. ...but my 4 Disney trips planned this yr for a total of 39 days in the parks (okay 3 in US and IOA) , apparently are not enough to them.. as if I joined the military and went 1 day.

O boy your in for it. I will just say I don't agree with you. Did you go to Iraq and fight agaist thoses crazy people. Did you watch your friends die right in front of you? I think they don't do enough. I think both them and there whole family get in for free.

To the OP...something to consider...it's those military members that are protecting your freedom and right to even be able to voice your opinion.

Consider being happy that you can afford to frequent WDW multiple times per year, that you and/or your spouse/significant other (if applicable) employer permits you to take time away from work to make these trips, that you don't sleep in a bunk, eat in a chow hall or have to spend countless hours away from your family.

The very military members receiving this discount may only be home for two weeks out of 12 months and want to experience Disney magic with their families.

They sacrifice ALOT more than they receive in discounts!!

God Bless America and all those who serve to protect our freedom, rights and homeland!

Good point and I agree with this.. !!! I do do do do do do do think they should spend time with family if they are over seas. (AND EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT over seas, (WHICH MANY ARE NOT ) I agree spending time with family is SUPPPPPPPER important for military AS well as noon military!) AGAIN 1 more time.. I am not against a military discount.. I am wondering why DW does not share it with others.. ...Why is it not the same.

I AM NOT arguing .. we should not reward them! they stink.. or why them. I do not want this to be a I do not support the military thread.

I am a season ticket holder at the local hockey team here and Military get discounts greater than what I get, I do not have an issue with it because they do something I am not only not willing but not capable of and get paid crap for it. I respect all of our military and thank them every day for the sacrifice they give so we can be free. I love that Disney offers them a great discount, not to mention the shades of Green resort so they can afford to take their families to the happiest place on earth.

I am the daughter of a Navy man, my sister was born over seas on a military base, and I appreciate your daughter or son in the Marines and there service.

I do not hate military. and do not want this thread to be anything remotely like I belittle what the military does.. .. I am so sorry if you took it that way.

I am only wondering why we are so much less important to the business plan of whom even made the discounts. Why we cannot be rewarded as well.

Not that anyone is less important, rather a larger discount for their service and sacrifice. With the military wages being low, many service would not be able to attend the special event Disney offers.

Because you don't risk your life every day how about that. Is it really that big of deal that we pay more.
