MM Warriors - Three Steps to Good Health (As of 11/18)

Beverly: You and your family are SO CUTE! It was really so much fun to get your card! I love it. Thanks for thinking of us.:santa:

I realized I should have changed the addresses to include all of your family members and I kept it the way we are listed on our sheet so I'll do better next year.:santa:

Love you! Good to see you! How are you doing with your exercise program?:cheer2:

Well we got through 3 weeks and I ended up saying we were going to have to wait until the beginning of the year. We visited my mom for 5 days and she lives in such a small house that there was no way we could do the DVDs there. Two days after we got back I had to go away to NC. He is working nights 2 nights this week which has happened 1 other time in 4 years and next week I have to go to ATL. So, we plan to start again after the 1st of the year.

Thanks so much for asking. We have been keeping pictures weekly and I'm really excited to start again, we were seeing results.

Haven't been able to catch up reading. How has everyone been doing? Losing fat?

I haven't lost any weight, but I fit into a 29 long that my husband bought me as a pair of goal weight pants. They are a little tight, but I wore them when I went to Raleigh and felt really good!!!! YIPPEE for me.

Jocelyn: The 'secret' ingredient in my coleslaw is celery seed. Everyone always asks what makes the difference;) About a tsp. for a standard recipe. Other than that, same as yours. Oh, and green onion for the one without cranberries - and salt:)

Thanks for the tip. I'll try that next time.

I just got back from my water workout. I can't believe it is December. We are usually having much more wintery type weather and I don't venture near the water. I also put on a suit I have not had on for a while and it fit!!! SIze 10 - of course there is stretch to it.;) I know I couldn't get into regular pants in that size, though. I'm working on it though - just like the rest of us!!

YAY!!!!! Who cares if there's stretch to your suit. You are still there Jocelyn!!! By the way, my niece just had a baby girl and they named her Jocelyn. What a beautiful name.:lovestruc

Hey, where is everyone? I'm really tired after a long day. I have a job interview tomorrow! I went to Sallys and found a perfect outfit for the interview. Plus I found some woman's size large spandex exercise shorts in great shape. Can you say "girdle." :lmao: I had to jump into them but they work like a charm! And cost $1.99 I don't think they have been used either, they look like store overstock that got donated. They had another pair right beside them that was a duplicate except for black, and both of them appeared brand new. The cool thing also, the dress is a 24. It must be a large 24, but my gosh that is quite remarkable! :)

Well, I hope your all ok. I'm about to crash. Love to all! :grouphug:

YIPPEE is right. Somehow this seems to be slowly working for us. It is frustrating to not see the numbers on the scale move, but we have to have a new mindset to not get discouraged.

I'm so glad Diane said we could stay on step 1 for a longer than 8 weeks if we want. I have found it very easy and certainly fits with everything else going on at this time of year.

you are certainly busy - but sound happy.

I hope she enjoys her name as much as I have.

I always know what to expect at this time of year as I've been with the same company for 10 years, but 5 in my current role and know that year end is really tough and it's super hard with 5 kids considering all the different activities everyone wants to participate in. Before I know it though, they will be all grown up and I'll be missing it, so I'm not going to complain and know that God will only give me what I can handle.

How cool is that!!

Carol - can you forward me that new card list? I didnt get the latest one either, and apparently didnt make it onto the e-mail list to receive the one you just got! QUOTE]
Robin - When you get the new list can you email it to me? Thanks!

Cindy: Wow! Size 29 jeans is amazing! You are reshaping even if the scale won’t tell you the truth! I’m so proud and excited for you! Can’t wait to see your before and after photos. My BIL is down to size 33. Good grief!

Jocelyn: I bet you rocked the new swim suit! It is soooo cold here today. Never made it out of the 40’s and that’s cold for us! I could winter in Hawaii quite easily!

Nell: Congrats on the great buys and the NEW OUTFIT. Good luck on the job interview! You’ll have to tell us what happened as soon as you get home.:woohoo:

Cindy: I always laugh about God knowing my limitations because he only let me have one child! I guess I couldn't have handled 5, but I would have like to have tried, lol! No, seriously, I finally came to the realization that it wasn't about me, but that God wanted J-P to be an only child for some reason. He is such a loyal and good friend - his friends are the siblings he never had and I know he has had major influences on some of them in ways he may not have had the capacity for had he not been 'alone' growing up. He treasures friends unlike anyone I've ever known. It may or may not be the reason, but I found a lot of comfort in that answer to my question as to why I never could have any more children. Now, he can sure try to make up to it for me with a bunch of granndkids, though! The more the merrier!:grouphug:

Nell, I need to go shopping with you. Sounds like you did OK with the new outfits. I can never find good stuff for me, I probably don't go at the right time.

Good luck on your job interview tomorrow. Will be thinking of you and sending good vibes your way!

I keep wondering why he gave me 5!!!! There are days where I'm at my wits end, I will tell you. I think you are right about J-P and how he has such a great loyalty to his friends. Some people just can't be good friends and it's such a great quality to have or to be. Let the grand kids fill your quench!!! That way you can always send them home after you sugar them up...hehehehe.:rotfl:
